Hi Lucy My prononciation improved dramatically with your lessons 😃, I'm living in the UK for ten years but still speaking with slightly foreign accent ( that's what people say to me). When I tried American accent it was very easy, but I don't like to speak with an American accent. Many thanks Lucy ❤️
@YoelMonsalve
@YoelMonsalve Жыл бұрын
That's the reason for why I wanted to come to train the British accent. First, it's more beautiful, but also, once the British one is dominated, I will do the American very easy (indeed, I already do the American accent).

But not so good in vocabularies. I'm keeping by heart just 2000 words.Very difficult to memorize words . One word may have too much meaning . Word sometimes comes as noun , verb , adjective...etc

Well, You should try to speak and watch videoes of native speakers so that your speaking and listening will automatically improve. I can see the way you write that comment is so simple it seems like you just know only some words or verbs . You should practice it and stop paying your all attention into learning words . Break a leg 👍.

It seems to me that one simple way to understand any rapidly spoken language is to mingle with native speakers, enrich the aural experience with as much conversations or dialogues as possible and then finally try to put things into practice....

Greetings from Brazil. That was quite a good exercise to practice my skills and see how I am now. It has been a couple of years since I finished my English course and here in Brazil we don't have many people interested in practice English on a daily basis, so I thought my listening skills could be a little rusty. It was totaly the opposite. They're sharp!! haha. I missed only two words from all the exercises. In the first one I included a "not" before the sun and in the last one I missed "scene" after party. All the comprehension and fill in the gaps were done completely right. Thanks!

I am not sure if anyone has experience the same with me as a foreigner living in the UK. When British people talk to me, they appear to use a set of language that they know I will understand like 100%. However, whenever in a group conversation, like in a pub after several pints, it sounds like a totally different language that I can’t even manage to identify 80% of the vocabularies. The situation is like in this video, absolutely no hurdle to understand at all but the difficulty in reality is on a completely different level by far, not even understanding a word. Do you think joining the course will help overcoming the difficulty?
