I recommend you take note of the tips shared in teacher Luke's videos on attempting each section of the test. For example flexing your grammatical prowess in description questions, how to make your written essays rich in order to get a high production score and getting a general idea of an essay when attempting the fill in the gaps section so the missing words can come to you easily.

I also watched the complete test attempt videos in order to gain insight of the test arrangements and how he attempts the questions. I had just a week to prepare for my test.

@@spidergamer789 for me, it was not really difficult but exhausting. it's hard to squeeze your answer within the time limit for a lot of questions. I would suggest focusing on just completing the tasks and ensuring you are 100% attentive during that one hour (make sure to maintain eye contact, set up your cameras properly to avoid your score being disqualified). for writing, I didn't follow a template or a strategy but rather just focused on specifying exactly what the question wanted me to. However I did have starting sentences ready for description questions as I had already familiarized myself with the question types. Overall, I'd say that knowing the question types, completing the questions, answering them to fit exactly what the question asks is better than wasting time on focusing on quality.

Small tips for everyone who is worried about the test: 1 You're most likely to score higher on the real test than you scored on the practice one. I personally scored 120-130 on the practice test and got 135 on the real one. 2 If you're getting harder tasks, you're on the right way! I was sure I failed my test as I was getting some really hard tasks I couldn't complete perfectly, but that's only mean you're doing great since the test is adaptive

I've been working hard to improve my production and conversation sub-scores, but I'm facing an issue with "listen and type" questions, Even thought I understand 99% of the audio, I often forget 70% of the words after hear them. My brain doesn't seem to retain much and I don't know why! I find that each repetition helps but It's still not enough to complete it. The longer the audio is, the fewer words I get. Do you have any advice for this issue? I really need to get 120 in conversation and production! (first attempt was 110 and 100 respectively). Thanks!
