தங்களது நிகழ்ச்சி நன்றாக உள்ளது. எல்லா வாக்கியங்களுக்கும் தமிழில் அர்த்தம் சொன்னால் புரிந்து கொள்ள நன்றாக இருக்கும்.

Yes ma'am. That particular scene from the movie Anbe sivam was the main reason behind my learning about how to tell the time in English. That was the time that we didn't have the internet facility especially the mobile internet to google and clarify our doubts in no time as we do now. So, I had to search a lot about it in the books I had that time just because to understand the scene.. And that's how I learnt about it. I will never forget those moments and also the things I've learnt like this..

"Her hair fell to the ground". . For this sentence can we use 'on' ... On the ground ?
@EnglishwithVennila6 ай бұрын
Yes, you can. But 'to' indicates movement and 'on' indicates location.

The closest in meaning to the given expression would be " to turn a deaf ear to something". It means "not to pay attention/ not to listen to someone".
