Things I picked up in this comeback showcase - these men really don't hold back and just expose each other whenever they can (well it's just the same with DongBang, SuJu, and SHINee) - Kyungsoo's default look. When the songs played and the members would dance to the songs, he remains seated and composed but would give the sweetest smile when he talked. This man doesn't ran out of charms. - Sehun's elegant composure. - Minseok's incredible ability to engage the audience. Deymmm gurl let's talk about Minseok... He doesn't talk often...with "often" meant giving additional insights like how Junmyeon, Chanyeol, Jongdae, and Baekhyun does. He only talks when he's required to and when he does, he has this amazing ability to connect with the audience. Being the member who has the least support in the fandom, it makes me want to look out for him. I can't help but observe him if he's really someone not worthy of the fandom's love and support. Nope, this man is too precious that I don't undertand why he's not getting enough love. When I began appreciating their music, I noticed he has the least support from fans. Throughout the years I kept this suspicion and, to my disbelief, this suspicion was confirmed after his military service. To those who wont agree with me, the data is enough proof. There's this fanbase account that gather data that looked into "the most googled EXO member" and he remains on the low ranks throughout the years. Even the vocal teacher-youtube content creator Sir Austin tweeted about it. I went back to Minseok's MV's such as "You Are The One", the song collab with former AOA's Jimin, "Jin" (it's not his song but he was the male lead of the MV), and "Young and Free" ft Mark Lee and these MV's doesn't get enough MV views like other members' solo projects. Go search his number of monthly listeners in Spotify and compare it with other members' to enlighten yourself. His SM station "You" prior to his military enlistment did not get 10M views on his discharge. It's been out there for 2 years but it's still not getting enough views. His live version of "You" doesn't get half of Kyungsoo's live version of "It's Okay" views when his video was out there 1 month longer than Kyungsoo's. Kyungsoo's my ult that's why I know how good his MV's are fairing. I see "we are one" hashtags on tweets but I don't see equal support for all members. Perhaps it's just me, but it makes me upset knowing how he prepared so much to meet the fans prior to his enlistment. He was anxious because he was the first member to enlist which is the start of the group's hiatus --- anxious in a way that fans may waver in their love and support if they release albums without all members and when members start their solo activities. He thought it through and requested the management for a fanmeet which he did successfully. It was no ordinary fanmeet. He did a medley of all-time favourite EXO songs and his solo projects which he did in his usual no-half-assed-perfomances style. All members came to fanmeet to give their support and Yixing joined in through a phone call. This is how precious Minseok is to them. He also performed "Don't Go" with sign language telling the fans to wait for their return. That was quite meaningful. He did all these yet he doesn't get equal love from aeris. You can't dispute me on this because MV views and losing the March fan votes in Fanplus after his military discharge speak millions. I spent time, money, and effort in voting for him because I love them equally and he's not even my ult bias. I am not guilt-tripping fans to support him (if you feel guilty, that's on you), I am just narrating why I feel it's unfair. Minseok may already know this very well, but he still remains hardworking and cheerful. He's trying his best, despite not having a Twitter account, to communicate with us in his Bubble and IG. It may not be possible to make the fandom give him equal attention, but I hope he will not be discouraged and I pray for his longevity in the industry. You may all bash me for making this "essay" but it's the 🍵. His talent and personality is one of the reasons why my decision for stanning EXO is worthwhile.

Xiumin is just the sad case for an unpopular member in a pretty big group, I fear. It's natural for fans to drift and support their favourites when the members start doing solo work-cause let's face it, following and supporting a single group is so much easier than following 9 individuals and most people just don't have the time, money and energy to do the latter, so the popular member will naturally have better results at that point. What you said about Fanplus vote though, he has the second highest votes out of any Exo member, second only to Kyungsoo, which is a feat in and of itself because dandanies are quite the voting monsters in that app and even Kyungsoo won only after two years of losing because dandanies started preparing early. It was just a really unfortunate case of having to go up against an ex-W1 member. That's okay is a lowkey hit song(160+ mentions by celebrities as of now and the most liked solo song from a 3rd gen male idol om melon) so comparing it with You is just not really fair + Kyungsoo is more popular within the fandom, has a LOT of solo stans and is generally well liked and known in the kpop community, so the results, as unfair as they may seem, were to he expected tbh. There's still time for him to rise though, even Suho didn't get much support for his releases before his debut and he went on to doing really well, perhaps the most successful Exo solo debut on kcharts and his physical sales were really great as well. I really do hope, like you that he starts getting more and more recognition and support, it's what he deserves.

@@fordyo3695 I agree with all the points you mentioned. You may think comparing You and That's Okay is unfair. But if you look at the angle that they're both EXO members, there should not be that much gap. And yes each members have wide range of difference in number of solo-stans which will explain the difference in streaming views and/or voting apps. I have also resigned myself to the fact that this fandom is divided. It's just a fact we all have to deal with.

If you look at chanyeol's insta account he has the most followers still his mvs dont have much streams.....and for lay they barely support him(except for the dedicated xingmis).they only recall him or hype him whenever he mentions exo or members...he doesnot get the full support for his music..when he write, compose and produces his own songs..For sehun people often recognize him as the main visual dont support enough to his solo music., for suho you know already And yeah Xiumin is higly underrated when he is capable of doing everything allrounder an ace . the way he comes upwith cute lil things and try to engage with fans and the way he expresses his love for us all thr time.I feel bad for xiumin and for all of them infact...because all members should be treated equally in the end..:(

Idk if my sentences is right to use, but personally i really can't understand how to make this equal for each members. It's hard to 'fair' enough in this world tbh, I also don't know how much something can be 'fair' / 'equal' tho' It's fact that D.O. have a little lot solo stand than Xiumin, like we know D.O. also known as most promising actor-idol rn, it's make sense he can have a more fans (I became EXO L cuz his acting and member acting too). Aku udh suka nonton drmaa2 Korea pas masih kelas 5 SD ingat bgt ngumpulin duit buat beli2 poster pdhl waktu SD duit jajan cuman 2 ribu hihihi,, awalnya bbf drama yg booming bgt smnjak itu aku mulai suka nonton2 drama Korea maupun boyband nya,, dulu suka bgt sama suju, b2st,, shinee,, mblaq,, teentop,, bigbang, duhh pokoknya emmg dunia remaja bgt,, sampai tau exo pas dengerin lagu mama jadi ketagihan sama lagu2 nya yg sering nempatin tangga waktu di lbs TV,, dan makin cinta pas dengerin lagu wolf, growl,, pas kelas 3 sma mau UN aku udh jarang ngikutin boyband2 grup lagi cuman nonton drama aja itupun gak sesering waktu aku nonton SMP sama awal2 kelas 1 sma nonton sampai subuh tidur 1 jam pergi sekolah jam istirahat aku tidur🤣 indah bgt dulu gak ada beban hidup rasnya sampai tamat sekolah mulai kuliah sibuk sama kuliah jarang nonton2 drama taua k. Pengen deh nanti kalo Kai Sehun udh balik wamil semua bikin showcase kayak gini lagi buat comeback OT8 setelah sekian lama. Tanya2 soal gimana aja mereka selama EXO hiatus hampir 7 tahunan, ini cb tempo yang cuma hiatus 1 tahun aja udh berasa kek lama bgt dan banyak cerita mereka ngapain aja selama ini, apalagi yg hiatus bertahun2 exo ga lengkap mulu. Terus perasaan mereka pas selepas wamil tuh gimana pasti banyak deh yang bisa diceritain karena keliatan bgt member selepas wamil tuh pasti kerasa lebih "dewasa" dan beda. Aaaaa pokoknya kangen banget deh ngeliat mereka kumpul2 lagi kek gini. Cb terakhir yang paling proper ya cuma era tempo-love shot ini. Dan itu udah 6 tahun yg lalu😭😭😭😭
