Obviously, she sang really really well. However, if to be compared to the original song perfomed by Kim Ah Joong, it is by far less emotional. When I heard the song by Kim Ah Jong, I felt just like hearing a hidden confession of a girl for her beloved man who never belongs to her. A deep but hopeless love :(

What makes this super impressive is the fact that she is totally unprepared. She was asked to sing this suddenly, she doesn't even know the lyrics, thats why she needs to sing while looking at the lyrics sheet. And she was sick too. She was coughing in the middle of the song. Please don't kill me but.... Normally I don't like Taeyeon's covers/solos/OSTs too much but this one is really good ^^ Half essay/half reply to those other comments down there....talent and singing well isn't always linked. Obviously there are those who are exceptionally talented and have the natural ability but in most cases, even those with talent need to train and refine their talent. So training and working hard is a valid point, however, talent doesn't come from working hard.... And I may be taking the wrong view but being a 'Taeyeon' in K-pop/music industry isn't always about talent/how hard you work....(not undermining her in any way but there are many great singers out there who have not been marketed/achieved commercial success)
