[EngSub] 🇲🇲 The Turning Point of Konbaung Dynasty | အိမ်ရှေ့မင်းနဲ့ မင်းသားသုံးပါး ကျဆုံးခဲ့တဲ့ နေရာ

The turning point of the Konbaung Dynasty was started in June 1866 on the grounds of Sandamuni Pagoda. On that day, the Crown Prince Kanaung Min, the younger brother of King Mindon Min, was assassinated along with Malun Prince, Saku Prince and PyinSi Prince during the Myingun-Myinkhondaing Rebellion. Myingun Prince and Myinkhondaing Prince, the sons of King Mindon Min, tried to coup the Royal Palace but the King Mindon Min had to flee from the temporary Palace with a very narrow escape. As a result, the rebellion was failed. After that the King built the Sandamuni Pagoda where the Crown Prince was assassinated as a memory of his faithful brother. The loss of Crown Prince Kanaung Min was mourned by the nation and he is still remembered as a great prince of the Kongbaung era.
The another place where we visited today is Kuthodaw Pagoda which is the World Largest Book. And also the Memory of World Register UNESCO. That pagoda is famous for its 730 whity stone-inscription caves that were built by King Mindon Min.
