Even not as a surgeon but Miyako-san can open people's heart using her lovebites 😂

She's super-intelligent and would have made a great surgeon, but for the rest of us, thank goodness she decided to choose the path of music.

Thank you for this. So interesting to get this glimpse into Miyako's background. The link between an interest in science or medicine and music is not uncommon. I can think of several famous scientists who also loved music, including Albert Einstein and Richard Feynman. Looking forward to part 2 👏

Or the other way around. To name a couple, Brian May (Queen) has a PhD in astrophysics, and Dexter Holland (The Offspring) has a PhD in molecular biology.

Great video, thanks!! So interesting to discover more about Miyako life's background ....... we're all glad she took the "musical" turn over the "medical" one but, I bet, she would have been an amazing doctor!! She is so committed, persistent and passionate abut what she does that I have no doubt about that.

Awesome, I'm having a hard digesting that Mi Ya wasn't near the top of her college piano class. Thank You for the English sub's.

with her hand and finger control she most likely would have been one of the best surgeons on the planet. thank goodness she chose the other path. there are many great surgeons but musicians of her caliber are rare. just think - we may have never known about the amazing mi-ya. unless you lived in japan and needed heart transplant or brain surgery !

Yea, competitive piano and violin world is very high pressure and definitely can be scary. So very glad Miyako found her place in this music landscape.
