Hi adam! I'm having your lessons from Turkey. And the interesting fact I've realized, Some of the idioms are almost the exact same our idioms. Here are some examples: Bread And Butter - Cheese and bread in Turkish The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. (Turkish): The Pear falls to the bottom of its tree. Spill the beans Take the beans out of your mouth. :D even though We have no cultural relation with english language. That's interesting man!

Hello Adam... Excellent class and very interesting. Inside idioms, a no native speaker cans see the culture of a country. For idiom "The apple doesn´t fall far from the tree", in Chile we say "de tal palo tal astilla" or "hijo de papito"... in negative sense. Greetings!!

"Bring Home The Bacon" also refers to triumph or success... For example, when you competing for a game or beauty pageant and if you'll win the competition then you "bring the success" or the price that you have won.
