This is quite an important explanation of "and so on" and "etc." to make it clear that there is the meaning of "so" to impact on the use of the phrases. Thanks a lot, Adam!

etc. = et cetera - agreed, pronounced as "et set'ra". However, since many N. American native speakers have already distorted it to sound like "ek se chra", which is NOT acceptable, I usually advise my students to say "and so forth", rather than imitate the wrong pronunciation, coming mainly from U.S. students who have a High School Equivalency certificate. Other than this, Adam's information is always correct, humorous and easy to follow. I often use Learn English with Adam in my classes.

Dear teacher, While I read the newspapars, I often notice that so many authors use and, but, yet at the beginning of the sentence to provide fluency and cohesion. And one more question relating with that when and how we use comma while using and, but, yet at the beginning of the sentence-at the beginning of the paragraph. Thank you for your great effort.

HI Adam, nice greeting you, my name is Fredy and let me tell you that wasn't a " blah " lesson at all, on the contrary, it was very interesting to me because there are some things that I didn't know and now you cleared up my mind, I've seen almost all your videos since I subscribed and like I told you I've learned a few things about English, I've seen almost all the videos of your friend too, I'm talking about " Alex " and both of you have taught me a lot about English even though I already knew plenty about the language 'cause I lived in The USA for five years but that was a long time ago and I've been out of practice since then but most of all I've lost listening but I understand everything you say, in short my congratulations for you and Alex because both of you are excelent teachers and you're doing a great job and thanks so much, I hope you post more videos so I can learn more interesting things about English bye

@neobiki You know, he said that "..." Is like "etc" and "so on", but, don't worry, "..." Is the same in your language. I bet this things he said is the same for any language. When he told that, I also was like: "huh"? Again, it won't change in your language.
