Brilliant. It is easy to get, thank you Emma. I used to think there is a problem with the sentence when i saw a sentence with in case because of the tenses. Now everything is ok. You are a good teacher.

To be totally honest with you i have been getting trouble with "in case" and yet now i feel cool just because you taught about "in case" so that we are able to get it easily. So all i have got to do now is make scentences about "just in case" just in case i forget it. Keep making teacher now and down the road you are the best teacher i have not yet to meet.

Thanks for the English lessons!!! very very helpful to learn and teach. You are an amazing teacher! You teach us that after in case we should use simple present but for example in some cases like I took three novels on holiday in case I felt like doing some reading. here we have used simple past after in case in a sense that both happened in the past. please comment! thank you again for the lessons!!!

Thanks for the interesting lesson I have studied ''in case '' in grammar in use book they say that it's possible to put the verb after I case in past tense to say why someone did something here is their example : I left my phone switched on in case Jane called (because it was possible that Jane would call ) but it is a British book is British English grammar different from America English

Your analysis and presentation is excellent , and by the way I want to get clarified about some confusion over verb tense that goes after in case , I came across a movie dialog where it uses past tense after in case , so what is the most correct way ? Example movie " Love on Iceland " , 17.55 " I got so bad Chole got him this old army compass from a street vendor just in case he lost his way again"
