Hi there James, this is Luiz Fernando from Brazil. I accidentally watched a video of yours here explaning... I can't remember what. But I loved it from the beginning - by the way you talk, the way you teach and of course your appreciation for my country. After watching this video in particular, I decided to write you some lines to talk about my city in Brazil. Its name is Belo Horizonte and it is the capital for the state of Minas Gerais. We are known for the thousands of bars we have in our city. So they call us "A capital dos bares" (The capital of the bars). And the very first bar that was biulted in our city is called.... Tip Top. It exists up to now and it was builted so the people who were working here building the city, back in 1897, could have a place to have some fun, to get together and so on. The bar was created in 1929, so the people who go there today tend to be older. When you walk inside, you can see several pictures of the city in the early days. I don't know if the owner knew about the meaning of the expression "Tip-Top" as you explained here on the video, but I would like to comment that with you. Feel free to comment about this in a nearby video and send me hugs too. Thanks a lot for your videos. Hugs from Brazil. Luiz Fernando

Great video James. You’re great. I’ve recently been inspired to start a KZbin channel demonstrating English vocabulary through real time examples. Keep up the good work Bro
@BenMousavi6 жыл бұрын
Bro I'm learning english so I think I know the needs of learners, there are hundereds of KZbin channel's that are teaching english and hamds down they are making incredible contents. What I haven't seen is "accent " teaching. Yes there are couple of lessons here and there but there's no specialized channel for learning accents. So you can be the first one which is the different one as well. You might object my opinion by saying that there is heaps of different native English accents people might not want one particular accent. But I would say I as a person who live in Australia really don't mind if I speak in Canadian accent or english accent coz I feel as long as you have a native accent it is easier to dissolve in the culture and work place.
