I took an amazing (English) lesson today* Take is used for lessons usually “I took an exam... I took a very advanced scientific lesson today” But actually the best word would be “I had an amazing lesson today” in my opinion

👨🏻🏫 Hello. Mr Teacher here in England 🏴. I have an answer to your question. We use ‘hold’ or ‘hold on’ when we have something in our hands. For example - ‘Mother told me to hold her hand as we crossed the busy street.’ Another example is - ‘Hold on tight, the roller coaster is about to start.’ We use ‘keep’ when we have something in our possession that is not for sale or giving away. Here is an example- ‘I will keep my car, but not my old bicycle.’ Another example is - ‘I asked my friend to keep my car in his garage for one week while I am on holiday.’

Acquire is to gain something. Enquire and inquire can mean to ask or look into something. Inquire is often reserved for formal investigations.
