Hi I just got this bike today and I’ve been following your tutorial of unlocking the bike,the flashing 25kph isn’t moving up or down it won’t unlock what am I doing wrong?

Same, if you have a -6 on your control. Try pressing + and - then holding + for 10 seconds. This is the alternate unlock. It didn't work for me, but it is worth a shot.

Just watched your video. Great review. I hear your accent is Irish, I’m living in Ireland myself. I want to get an E26 but would like to know your thoughts on how it does in wet conditions. I’m going to use the bike to get to and from work. And as you know, it can be a little wet here! Thanks your review.

Small world! Bikes actually ain’t too bad in the rain compared to scooters because the batteries are high off the ground. I had a bike for a long time and the main thing to cover is the battery. Just put clear Gorilla tape and simply cover the edges of the battery on this E26 and should be fine. On other bikes that fold (for example the EP-2 Pro I reviewed linked below) same thing. Gorilla tape at the joint where it folds. I never had an issue and used this method so many times without issues. I found if you put rubber washer on the fender (mudguards) when attaching them stops the rattling noise from them. Makes a big difference.

Hi, thanks for the upload. I just watched an American review of this E26 bike and he stated the motor was 750w. So now im wondering if the restriction limits the same motor from 750w down to 250w to meet euro legistlation or do we only have a 250w motor. You say the accelleration/torque feels more than 250w after you unlocked it, I wonder if youve also unlocked 750w as well as the speed.

@@clintcumberland1664 Depends on weight, temperature, speed, hills, start/stop. Faster you go, faster battery drains of course. Everyone rides differently so this is difficult to answer.

Should fine. I found it gigantic and I had the saddle on the lowest and the handlebars. So definitely would be ok.

How does the Fiido titan compare to the engwe e26? I like the look of the titan more and am a bit torn.

Never tried that Titan but the price difference is an around €300 extra at least so personally I would choose the E26.

Never seen it before..but for how well thought through that fiido looks..I'd say it is on the level of himiway. I bought the E26 myself as in the basics it's an absolute good bike..and I found bike up to expensive for the price difference..that said I still hassle today with finding the good fitting universal accessories like a front carrier. Frame bag etc.. so if the accesoiries are important to your daily need on the bike..is say look further..if you just need a great ebike thats capable of replacing a moped..the E26 is a great start for it! ..on top fory own needs that the bike would be road legal..E26 has a legal 250w motor however it feels much much stronger. But the fiido would be illegal at 750w.

Were your gears setup nice out of the box? Mine need some adjustment. Not want you want to be doing on a new bike. Plus i need to add some rubber washers to the rear fender. Stop the vibrations.

Are you taking about the mechanical gears? Mine were fine. I had zero issues with the fender.

@@Movelectrics Yeah the gears. The bike is in gear 7 but the shifter is showing it in gear 6. I will have a play with it. It's the rear fender. Has a rattle/vibration sound. See it on a few different Engwe bikes. Either way. I love the bike. It's a pure beast.

i got a ep-2 pro, changed to hydraulic brakes, 52t crankset,bmx handlebars, new pedals, suspension seatpost and tires to schwalbe super moto x.. total cost 1200-1300 eur. i do not believe you can get a better bike for that money its a pure beast. in my opinion its the best way because you skip all the markup that Engwe would put on these add-ons

@@kostasNax79 I don’t need more power than this have really, I have it capped at 25km/h anyways. 47km/h with me on, plenty of power up hills etc. I don’t use throttle so I pedal

hey, im trying to search for an electric bike and currently looking at the engwe m20. But its a moped style bike so no ajusting and so. I wonder maybe i should get this one, the m20 has 2 13ah batteries if you get the model and the store im looking at has them at same price (1400 euro), so moped with 2 13ah batteries or a regular looking ebike with 16ah battery. The distance with m20 battery says that is 75km per battery on pedal assist which i would use most and the bike is really low. maybe this is better with the 140km. What do you think?.

This E26 is huge but definitely built well. Plenty of power and decent range.

E26 has adjustable seat height.. regular bike components to get to a good fit... The frame is really high up and definitely with the fat 26" tires it is for someone around 1.8mtr or taller. Range wise on speed unlocked and with occasional throttle usage..i dont get much more than 40km of Range out of a full charge. That is with pedalling along in the highest gears. Also it is quite hard to pedal along with 50+ kmh almost impossible for longer distances..a quick burst is ok to push it over 50..but I'd say a regular speed for my bike is around 46/48. For my own need it was mandatory I get a road legal bike.in.the Netherlands. And based on factory setting this E26 is! The M20 wasn't road legal to European laws. That said as much as I like the M20..I prefer the 26"fattire style and the convenience of have a bike with common bike parts. After changing the seat post for a rigid one, and swapping the straight handlebars for a backsweep model..It could now drop the saddle 10cm lower, and come within reach for my shorter wife! Something like the M20 or actually any other long saddle regular fatbike..she could never reach ground. Also the rack is awesome and I can carry my daughterwith a assured feeling. Being still absolutely huge and high up that E26, it adoptes a bit better for different riders. That said it gets nowhere near the advertised range when riding faster on e power. I think you could fit the same 2nd battery like the M20 but not sure how things are wired and programmed. I like the M20 dual battery set up and it definitely looks like one of the cooler e-bikes. Spare part availability on engwe are a wild guess. I couldn't get a serious answer on my question about the E26 front rack mounts and what basket would be available for it.. neither wouldn't they sell me the L20 basket with the same mounting points. So somethings you'd be better off with universal parts but they won't fit as good. Everything concluded..I love the E26 for what it's good at and the price paid!! It's an absolute Godzilla of a bike and good yet cheap! Great moped replacement for shorter distances or wherever you could charge the battery at the job for example.
