Enhance the Amazing New Power BI Card Visual with Conditional Formatting of ICONs and Accent Bars

In this video, I'll walk you through adding colour conditional formatting to 2 aspects of the new Power BI card visual.
The first will explain how to change the icon displayed in the new card visual, based on comparing it to a threshold value.
The second will explain how to dynamically change the colour of the accent bar, again based on comparing a given measure with a threshold value i.e. changing the accent bar colour to red if the maintenance backlog hours are above the threshold!

I'll also explain how to create a table that contains the list of KPIs and their threshold values and refer to them in your conditional formatting DAX measure code.
This means all the thresholds are stored in one place and not hard-codded into a conditional formatting rule for each visual or the DAX code of each formatting measure. If the threshold values need to be updated then they can be updated in one place and the new value will cascade to the logic of the underlying conditional formatting calculations.
