I wouldn't. A variable resistor could cause signal degradation and no one likes noise in their audio setup :)

mettez une résistance 2k sur la ligne RX. J'aime les condensateurs électrolytiques et céramiques ajoutés sur les rails d'alimentation pour un meilleur son.

Can this device repeat the same small audio file once activated?

yes, you can make it repeat a sound file after activated. you can activate it by button, sensor, timer....whatever you like, and then it can play on a loop. You can make it play immediately after it ends or delay it for a specific time before it plays again. 👍

@@BMonsterLaboratory DFPlayer can looping mp3 track, but there is a little "click" sound when track restarting.
