We were at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure for the re-opening of the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man ride after months of work upgrading the entire attraction. All the 3-D footage has been reanimated in stunning high-definition and the soundtrack has been updated for the reboot of this fantastic ride.

One thing I loved so much about this ride, was the cartoonishly evil villains. It was like straight out of a comic book it was so cool to see. Their evil laughs, their bad puns that are such guilty pleasures, and their fiendishly diabolical schemes, made for an even better experience.

I'm more sorry than you probably are: Carnage is stronger than Venom. Venom had to team up with Spider-Man to take Carnage down. Carnage is unrestrained, follows no rules and thrives on chaos. He is 10x more deadly.

My goodness, this is beyond jaw-dropping. I've ridden the original at least 50 times, rewatched the POV for it and then watched the upgraded version. Holy poo, what a difference even just watching it here on your computer. You can just tell that the ride isn't just back to its former glory, it is way better. Can't wait even more to go back later this year!!!

I'm so glad that we got to ride the enhanced version when we were over in Florida last week. I'd place Spider-Man as my overall favourite ride, closely followed by Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Reign Of Kong and Soarin' All Over The World. God I miss Florida and can't WAIT to return.

Definitely agree with you on those (although I never got chance to go on Forbidden Journey). Went in June (my first visit, boyfriend's fourth), Reign of Kong wasn't officially open, but we luckily got to go on a soft opening, and I absolutely LOVED Soarin' All Over The World. Some of my other favourites were Revenge of the Mummy, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Escape From Gringotts and Expedition Everest (sorry for the long list, I enjoyed so many of them). Can't wait to save up and go back over there :D

***** We waited about 2 hours, but most of that was because there was a technical fault for a while and we had to wait it out in the queue. Our biggest mistake was thinking "I know, let's go to Epcot on the day the Frozen ride opens and try and go on it!" 5-6 hours the wait got up to. Needless to say, we left that queue, I don't even like Frozen that much...

Everything about this ride is perfect! The screens are so beautiful to the eye, the vehicles sync up so well with the screens, the booms and practicals are perfect, the voice acting is fun, and so is the music! 10/10 :)

When I went to Universal for my birthday last year, we broke down on this ride at 2:40 right after the fire. It kept going off and we sat there for about 15 minutes. They played the rest of the ride silent and without effects, but I really enjoyed the working bits lol.

meanmelons when i went on the ride me and my mom and everyone else got stuck on the falling part, the screen blacked out and i heard thunder so that means casual Florida storms, and my mom hold my hand saying "dont worry spiderman will save us" just to keep myself claim they offered us another ride and so we rode it again. But that was the only time we got stuck at universal studios

Yes. Out of all the rides I've been on, this has to be the most creative one. Not only is it realistic visually, but you could feel it as well. You could feel the fire, smoke, and water. As well as you could feel yourself falling and moving around :)

And you can see Stan Lee’s multiple times throughout the ride. He’s the truck driver (the truck driver wasn’t working in this video, though; strange), he’s under the “Clone Saga” theater sign, and near the end of the ride next to (or when the car turns around, I forgot) Spider-Man when he says “Guess that wraps things up”. Also, RIP Stan Lee :)

I just saw the spider-man movies for the first time a month ago and rode this back in march....I need to go back and ride it again so I'll appreciate it and love it more. I've literally become a HUGE spider-man fan. I would cry if I got to ride this again :')

I also just came back from Orlando and I have to agree it was awesome. They use real fire and water at a couple points on the ride it was amazing. I only waited about 30 minutes and it was all inside in the AC so it was great :) I went on a weekday around 10am. I used to hate superheroes and MARVEL but I've made a complete 180. I love it now. I just rewatched every single movie.
