It is not just you. It is indeed very buggy. It should be able to detect the card seamlessly but it doesnt, My trick is instead of tapping the card I place the card horizontally on the table and then place the iPhone on top of the card vertically so that the card touches the top part (including the camera) and that works for me consistently. Holding both the card and the iPhone in hand and trying to tap, that is very very buggy.

If your phones NFC can reload the card, it makes you wonder why don't they just cut out the card and allow you to tap an NFC enabled phone to make payments.

The amount of times in scanning the cards for the reload process is just so ridiculous to me. And frequently the card can’t be detected and shown errors. Oh my. I thought we are moving forward with efficiency. Not redundancy.

All you do is complain. Making something simple from complexity isn't easy. Maybe you wanna understand UX/ UI before you critic. There's a reason why all road signs come in different colors and shapes but there's only 1 shape and color for stop signs regardless of the language. Even there is an upgrade, I'm pretty sure you kind of people will still critic on something you can't come up with something constructive. Maybe there's a reason on tapping 3 times, as a sense of security and different process in the app, allowing your phone to orgainze in stages. Imagine being glitched for 500RM top up vs 10RM top up.

I wonder why they don't extend the new TNGo card for in store payment. It has the paywave symbol on one edge of the card. Just make sure the card has sufficient stored value. Those EZLink cards people use in Singapore can be used for in store payment if the payment counter has the paywave terminal and make sure the card has sufficient stored funds. Apart from having this mode, it is used for public transport payments like buses and train rides. Near Field Communication technology.

It works exactly the same as your existing Touch n Go, only difference is that you can reload the balance using your phone with NFC functionality instead of heading to reload points.

@@afiqaFaT if you go through tolls like ldp which has PayDirect, your touch n go card will take ewallet balance which is the same as RFID. However, you can use RFID or TnG only because the toll still hasn't support PayDirect

It's a huge difference between them. You can't purchase things offline using enhanced tng card, only tolls, etc. But using Visa Cars, you can use it to buy groceries and things online. Same as your debit card, unfortunately somebody said it can't be used for toll, etc. It's like opposite benefits.

Masa saya perasan tercicir tu nasib baik dompet saya dan kad pengenalan masih ada tapi hilang kad TnG dan wang tunai dalam tu. Lepas tu terus buat panggilan ke hotline helpline service PLUS dan juga terus ke balai polis untuk buat laporan. Lepas tengok ada lah orang tu sempat nak guna untuk tol kecil-kecil kat KL / Selangor tu, tapi macam ada perasan dia nak guna untuk tol besar kot, dah masuk tol, masa perasan dah sekat kan, kad yang tercicir dipegang orang tu tak sempat nak keluar tol lagi, mesti dia geram sebab tak dapat nak keluar dari tol tu LOL Nasib baik hilang bawah RM10 tol saja, sebab hari tu memang dah plan nak guna untuk rentas negeri jadi dah siap-siap bubuh seratus lebih ringgit dalam kad tu. PLUS kirim cek ke rumah saya, dan saya cuma kena beli kad baru lah. Nasib dapat selamat majoriti duit dalam kad tu
