They've been vampires since debut. There's actually a comic for the storyline. Its pretty complicated. The girl is a not really but kinda vamp princess the enhypen members are her knights, and the one who was trying to kill her is someone who wants the Princess' power for himself because she kinda also have superpowers. It's pretty complicated.

A reader from the DARK MOON: The Blood Altar webtoon and webnovel here! Basically Sooha is a new student at Decelis Academy, and she really hates vampires because she keeps being mistaken by one due to her superhuman strength + a vampire murdered her one and only friend Chris. She meets ENHYPEN (who are actually special vampires with powers lmao) and befriends them, but she’s also been getting these weird reoccurring dreams with them in it in a more Victorian era setting… there’s a lot more interesting events that happen in this story, along with some typical high school ones like “nightball” (similar to football or rugby game) along with rivalry with the “Sunshine City” Team (those are actually the werewolves from the Drunk-Dazed MV - and are actually the boys from another hybe group called &TEAM that have 4 guys that were in I-LAND, and were formed by another show called &AUDITION, they have their own webtoon story called DARK MOON: The Grey City!) - I think this concept trailer and DARK BLOOD itself doesn’t exactly follow this webtoon storyline, but more takes inspiration from it with the girl and vampire love concept. There was a reference to a movie with the pile of pineapple cans, and it seems like in the trailer the enhypen members (without Sunghoon) bodies merged together into Jungwon being the face member, then after Sunghoon slashed him with his sword, Ni-ki became the face member until he got stabbed, then Jay appeared along with Sunoo + Jake coming out of the back to reprimand Sunghoon. However, as the girl bites Jay you can see how Jake and Sunoo also collapse since all of their bodies are connected. At the end, Sunghoon says the key words, “Bite Me” (as in the beginning the boy says that to say those words it ends the twisted fate), the girl then says “Bye bye, my love” (showing that they were lovers) and bites him. He disappears and the twist of fate ends.

An artist(well actually artistS) with super cinematic mvs I'd LOVE to see you check out is DPR! They're a collective of artists based in South Korea. DPR Live is a rapper and has the most music out of all of DPR. DPR-Ian is their creative director (he also edits) for all of their videos, including his own. I think probably the most visually important thing I've seen is DPR-Ian's official Mito movie. It pretty much goes over several songs from one of his albums. One of the reason I love it so much is its portrayal of mental illnesses. DPR Ian (Christian Yu ) Has bipolar disorder and within his mvs and songs go over that in a way that (as someone who suffers from something similar) I find pretty relatable and at times comforting.
