This happened before they got to Riverfield which means wayyy before they met Sooha. And it seemed Chloe is already dead by the time they got there which is why they're all heartbreaking, not dying. And Sunghoon is the first one to recover because he's hybrid, half vampire, half werewolf. He recovered faster than the boys. Cuz it's full moon day.

The timeline seems like it's before going to decelis( it's in riverfield) I think Chloe was someone who before sooha was there sole human friend in outside world.. and it definitely resonates with engenes too.. and I loved your end message deduction guys..❤❤❤

Chloe is already dead and the tape was the only memory left of her so they want to retrieve it. Playing it got them reminded that Chloe is gone, they were mourning. This is before they move to Riverfield too, before they met Sooha. I believed Sooha is a reincarnation of Chloe.
