There are some interesting facts about the song "Bite Me": 1. Heeseung received vocal arrangement credits on the song "Bite Me." 2. Jake and Heeseung provided background vocals on the song "Bite Me." 3. Ni-Ki participated choreography creation in the song. 4. I loved this comeback so much because I feel they are taking a step back into the Enhypen they started with in terms of the style of music and storytelling. We don’t need YET ANOTHER boy group that focuses on punchy rap/hip hop and almost drill. This is why the boy groups aren’t giving as much as the girls these days because we are over it so I’m happy they’re going back into their vampire compulsion type songs lmaoo😂😂😂😂 Like given-taken, drunk-dazed and them.

I was also kinda sad that they didn't include more of their story in the mv, especially after getting so hyped with that concept film. I love the song, but I think it threw me off because I expected there to be less dancing and more plot in the mv. I definitely started liking the song more when I listened to it on its own.

BITE ME SOTY!! I'm happy you were digging the sing-rap, I think it's different for Enhypen to do! It's a grower, I like it more and more every time I listen to it. I can just imagine how satisfying the choreography is - hopefully you'll do a react of it!

I liked the song quite a bit I just wish it was longer like a lot of people are saying. But...as soon as Bills started I was like...."this is the one" lol. So good!!

They possibly didn't want to go too far into the vampire territory and make it look gimmicky or something 🤷🏾‍♀️. I think they wanted to hint at the immortal love/lovemaking part and not the other parts of being a vampire. Idk, this was my first time listening and watching the video. I liked it tho. 👍🏾

Fate got an instant place in my playlist, so did sacrifice (eat me up). The others are good too but I prefer them live, the comeback showcase was amazing !!

I like it and the album is good. However, HYBE getting on my nerves lately. What is this obsession they're having with the songs of their artist not having a bridge or anything? Like, Le sserafim, Enhypen, Seventeen, TXT, New Jeans, etc. All of their releases this year for their title track have no real bridges. TXT usually always have a tea bridge to their songs and they just decided, nope. And, they've been doing this with Enhpypen for way too long, they haven't had an actual bridge since their debut song, it's super weird. They need to hire a new music director or something.

I always look forward to your reactions. Thank you for doing this one. Quite surprised you didn’t like it though. We each have our own tastes though and I respect your honest opinion. I love Bills on the album and Sacrifice. All the songs were good this time imo though. There have been a few reviews let down by the MV since they wanted more story, but in my opinion they did already give us a short film for this CB so I was fine with the MV being more of a performance video. Plus we all love to see Enhypen dance. I was proud that Ni-Ki choreographed on it too!! 🥰

I liked this comeback concept because it reminded me a lot of their debut Given-Taken. The album is also a smooth listen. I do agree that I expected more from the MV. I too thought this might be a pre release. Because after the film video they shot, I thought this MV would incorporate a lot more of the lore and just be more cinematic. I thought that’s where we were going but I guess not lol. Still cute though.

6:45 yooo Ik it reminded me of something since the teaser just couldn’t place it Yeah also wish they gave us some ballroom dance moves with the female dancers and the mv looking like it’s on a budget actually adds to the charm for me cuz yesss give me Eastern European realness. The song could’ve been perfect if they gave it a bridge and a grander final chorus but I’m just happy we are free from the pop rock/drill(?) detour they took for a sec.

The mv was so weird to me! It seems like such a step back from their usual mv quality in terms of the sets, the lighting etc, even the direction of some of the shots, it lacks the grandeur I think this sort of concept needs. And a heavy harmony/vocal layered bridge would have helped this so much!

I like Bite Me but it ended so abruptly for me? They went straight into a final chorus with no bridge and I was thrown off majorly. But the choreo... Let me tell you. The choreo for me makes up for it. Those female dancers slayed. My bisexual ENGENE ass was shaking. And the melody of Bite Me felt very early 2000's Disney channel in a good way? Like gave me a bit of a Cheetah Girls vibe but maybe I am tripping. The MV could have been done better imo too, I loved the scenic shots in Poland but a lot of it felt dressed down. All in all I'd rate this comeback an 8/10 for me.

Omg yes! When I first heard the song the melody sounded so familiar (I’m not sure if they sampled anything, but I couldn’t put my finger on it). It’s crazy because the more I listened to it the more it reminded me of early Disney (even the way their voices sound reminds me of the 2000’s Disney channel songs we grew up with). I’m glad I’m not the only one who heard it (i.e., the song has a dark concept but it still has this upbeat poppy sound in the melody, making it kind of reminiscent of early Disney).

I think if you think about it it makes sense that the MV looks "low budget" since in this era they are representing their lore as vampires in "past ages" but in a more modern way ??? I don't know how to explain it correctly but what I mean is that surely the company tried to portray old kpop mvs for enha's lore this time, also I have seen many 2nd gen kpop fans say that this comeback reminded them a lot of groups like shinhwa or a vixx so somehow i can understand it hehe by the way thanks for reacting to enha this time!!

I haven't listened to the full EP yet, but so far Bills has been my favorite track. Was a bit underwhelmed by Bite Me as well, but perhaps it will grow on me.

I agree with you. I wish the song dove into some of its more darker elements. Dark kpop concepts are my favourite, but not many groups actually do them. So, even as a casual listener of the group, I always liked Enhypen for their darker concept (drunk-dazed is my fav song by them). I liked the melody of the song, but my fav part was the “oh my god” part because it had the darkest sound to it (I wish the beat/ melody had more of that heavier sound/ bass to it). Plus, the “oh my god” part gives me LADY GAGA vibes (like her earlier darker pop sound). Also, when I first saw the coffins as well (spiritually) it made me uncomfortable. I was like nope, not today. Even though their concept was vampires , I don’t think they needed that scene.

The chorus part @8:42 reminds me of NCT Dream... like Jaemin's part in Hot Sauce. It gives me a hip-hop NCT vibe that I can groove too. Their voices sound super strong and mature, too.

lowkey seein the same opinion so from perspective I dont think bite me lacked, as yes it was supposed to be grand in some way but silence and void also plays a big part in this whole lore that's why its a contrast between the two and there would've been no point if it was grander, and from my pov the contrast between the modern flooring and the polish set seems like its suppose represented as the time before the queen (aka sooha) got reincarnated into sooha and the boys before they forgot who they were (as in the old "sooha" and the old boys) and new sooha and the new guys now kinda like together because everyone keeps getting flashbacks from the old memories (IF THIS IS MAKING ANY SENSE I DONT KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT FURTHER, its in the webtoon!) and sooha has to bite them (viewing over to the teasers). as for the abrupt ending I feel like that was also done on purpose but I'm still thinking about to explain it rn. anyway the concept in general will make more sense when this continues. there's like a whole lore behind the video (which most people obvi know they're just not getting it) anyways sorry for the long opinion.

I was so excited for this comeback and yet their company made (at least for me and my taste) the same mistake again. It feels like HYBE/Be-Lift or whoever it's in charge of their music as a whole just wants Enhypen to be like every other boygroup but the coolest and most interesting thing about them, especially during Drunk Dazed and Fever, it's that they're different. They have SO MUCH potencial + a cool concept and it feels like their trapped in a little box. I wish I was the one behind their production cause I have a feeling even I could be doing better, cause my boys are like the Blackpink of HYBE right now 😭😭

My opinion: that sort of Interlude/rap section right before the chorus ruined the whole vibe and flow of the song. It should have been put after the chorus and/or as an outro. The song is also way too short and it really needed a powerful/epic bridge to make it feel 1) more complete 2) more epic. Also there is no crescendo, the song doesn't have any climax. The bridge could have provided that and made the song more interesting. I'm actually mad because the song has a lot of unused potential, i love the chorus. The whole thing reminds me a bit in vibe of phantom by wayv. But phantom, in my opinion, was way better made (still angry for how criminally underrated that song is).

Idk about the M/V, my complain is about the song. I do not know complexe things about music but what I know is that at the end of this 2:38 minutes title track I tought : "I'm bored of the song already." The chorus is repetitive; 3 times in 2 minutes and the production does not change the experience we had at the beginning of the song(basicaly I heard the same thing twice and noticed it instantly on first listen) The pace of it makes me forget about the vocal part in between the chorus and the rap part (the hook ?) And it's my favorite part of the song....I do not hate the song, I will just skip it most times when listening to the album. Wouldn't mind hearing it randomly tho.

It is not weak it's just your taste in music is different. Not every time they are going to release the songs based on "your" preference For me it is a 9/10 album not their best but it is so good, literally there are no bad songs
