Micah, I’m not going to lie I was sweating because the reaction to XO has been extremely polarized and I know you have very specific and high standards but that’s why I watch your videos; for no nonsense commentary. But I’m so glad you enjoyed it, all the reasons you like it are the reasons I love it as well. The funky pop production ate so bad for me. They did a refreshing concept but did it with their own enhypen way so it’s more “coy” and “mature”than “cute.” This album was really good and I’m really happy we are getting more member participation this era with some self produced songs. I respect your comments so much and I know that there are certain things that you want and/or look for. I worry when a song that i love is missing something, like harmonies, that I know you love. I am happy that you really like XO, I think it is a great song and was very brave of Enhypen to do something so different! I also love Moonstruck, and while it is missing the harmonies that you crave, I think Heeseung's background vocals throughout almost the entire song, make up for it. I can't help but think of Bruno Mars when I hear Heeseung in Your Eyes Only, and now I want to hear him sing a cover of Bruno Mars.

3:39 of course it’s Heeseung! All of adlibs and back vocals are Heeseung! It’s crazy how he is supporting them all at the back on Moonstruck! I’ve seen a video of back vocals only and you can clearly hear how Heeseung is emphasising each line! Like literally every line almost! I was wondering why I keep hearing him so much but now I know the answer! ❤❤❤

so like, is it just me or xo feels like extremely lazy production... i like enhypen and i was excited to see their comeback, but then i saw the stage and it just bored the hell out of me with the exact same lyrics, melody and minimal layers. i actually couldnt sit through the whole song

Tbh I hear this. I personally think the production carries, the lack of lyrics is the weakest point but somehow it managed to not bother me as much here
