I've watched hundreds of these popping videos. I'm no expert obviously but most dermatologists seem to have different styles. I gotta say yours is the best by a long way. You leave a cleaner and less "traumatised" surface to the skin. Love your videos, I've subscribed so I can keep up to date.

Is it no longer ok for a nurse to have “patients” bc they aren’t a doctor? And what would you have her call them? If you are a subscriber, you probably have already noticed that she actually refers to them as her friends more often!!!

I hate to rain on your parade, but Dr. "Pimple Scraper" does NOT get the same results as Dr. Reina. She uses that stupid scraping tool for black heads, and often leaves the targeted zit for another because she can't push hard enough to dig anything out. Dr. Reina is a pro. "Pimple Scraper" in many ways is purely bush league.

Removing these makes SUCH a big difference. I wish more people knew they can be removed with out a whole lot of fuss. So many elder gentleman don't know what to do and many can't see enough to know what is causing the darkening. What I wouldn't do to get my dad to sit still for a half hour.

You were commenting on the Q-tip method as far as removal goes. There are some kinds of lesions that a comedone extractor works great on and then there are some lesions that it does not. I feel a little bad for the professionals that have sold comedone extractors with their names on them because I feel like that limits their choice. I think it would be more freeing for them 2 realize the benefit of multiple ways to extract and encouraged their client to do the same. I love how you use a glycolic wash on the skin multiple times during a session. It is so nice to see healthy skin free of layers and layers of dead flaking skin. Some people don't have access 2 formulas of glycolic wash that exfoliate.

I love your soft, gentle technique. There are some out there who stab infected skin with what look like ice picks then squeeze so hard the whole face bleeds. Contents are wiped in filthy gloves. I can't imagine the harm they are doing. You are SO refreshingly clean and gentle!

Hate to say this as I don't normally compare videos and doctors, but this is the method Dr. Lee should have used on her patient known as "The Masked Man" who had hundreds of blackheads around his eyes, hence the nane. Instead, a steel extractor was used, bruising the skin immensely. Patient did have some sort of skin treatment beforehand but obviously it did not work as well as Enllsa's glycolic wash, as his blackeads were extremely difficult to remove and they remained stuck hard and fast in his skin. He ended up having a "mask" of bruises instead of a blackhead "mask". That being said, I love Dr. Lee and Enilsa. Just feel Dr. Lee should have had her patient's skin softened more thoroughly on that particular occasion as, in fact, did several other viewers.

I so agree. Sorry to say, but Dr. Sandra Lee is way too abrasive and she talks too much during the video. This one is so much more relaxing to watch and her voice is so soothing. And she knows how to extract the correct way.

Dermatologists and estheticians are trained differently and take different approaches to skin care. While I too like Dr. Lee in general and have learned much from watching her videos, I also feel that sometimes her techniques are not the best. I detest the extractor that she uses and sometimes I wonder if she is only using it because she's trying to sell them. I also don't like that she drags it across the skin rather than pushing down directly which is more successful. I don't like most of the extractor tools I see on KZbin though the cup tool does seem to be the most efficient one. A good tool in good hands is best and I rarely see that. I didn't like the Q-Tip method at first but I can now see it works quite well and I enjoy seeing Enilsa succeed with it. You should know that Dr. Lee won't watch popping videos so she probably has never seen this method on KZbin. It's a shame that some doctors don't think they can learn anything from a professional with "inferior" education. When I had cancer I made a suggestion to the surgeon who had to perform one of my surgeries as to the placement of incisions after my mother had the exact same surgery for her cancer and complained that she wished the doctor had done it differently. He consulted two other surgeons and they couldn't think of a reason not to try my suggestion so the doctor tried it and it was a huge improvement in patient comfort. So he now suggests to the patient that they have two choices about the way he makes the cuts and last I heard a dozen surgeons are now offering the two options when they do that kind of surgery. I won't take credit because it was my mother's idea. I merely want to point out that some times a doctor can learn something from somebody who is not a doctor but not all doctors are willing to listen. Dr. Lee is a wonderful doctor but sometimes I don't think she is willing to learn new things except through her own trial and error. I though she'd never try the curved tweezers technique which is very useful for some kinds of extractions.

I think Dr Lee should stick with operations to do with the skin etc., but not do zit popping. She’s really isn’t good at it and it’s comes across as a bit harsh and long winded. But love all the other stuff she does. Enilsa does the best zit popping ever!

I definitely love Enilsa's method of extracting blackheads over Dr. Lee's. Now I will say, no one removes a cyst like Dr. Lee... But Dr. Lee's blackhead removal videos are quite cringeworthy.
