I must say that the orchestra, the conductor and the balance of this recording are also out of this world. The Japanese people and their entire culture have given many human spiritual, intellectual and artistic geniuses and currents over the centuries. This recording is one of the greatest highlights of Japanese human performance and spiritual expression.

brilliant as every time! She's already one of the greatest violinists of our time, and this at this young age!
After listening to the beginning of Bruch's Violin Concerto with Itzhak Perlman for five minutes, I turned to Himaris' playing. WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN AUTHENTIC MUSICAL EXPRESSION. It is indeed very difficult to understand the phenomenon of such a young child as Himary and her mature and very authentic musical expression at her age. Every time I hear Himari's violin playing, my heart is stirred to its deepest layers. Himary's soul has contained the soul of all pure music since her birth: she is indeed a cosmic phenomenon in the history of all humanity. I CANNOT WAIT TO LISTEN TO HER PERFORMING BEETHOBEN AND BRAHMS VIOLIN CONCERTS AND THE DOUBLE CONCERTO OF BRAHMS WITH A CELLIST OF HER MUSICAL LEVEL AND THE JAPANESE PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA! I think that these events will be the strongest answer against war and crime that exists around the globe.
We are all blessed to have witnessed the beginning of the career of one of the greatest violinist of the 21st century. I cannot help but feel the surge of tears listening to her playing regardless of the piece.
There is absolutely no ego in Himari's violin playing, only the purest and most powerful musical expression that the human mind can or cannot imagine. Every note Himari plays is a real surprise and even a shock of human or divine expression of pure love through music. It is precisely her no-ego musical expressiveness that gives the music Himari plays the power that only God can express through the beauty and greatness of nature.

So true. I 'm grateful to you because you resorted to all of things that I accepted gifts from Himari’s rendition here.
Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op.
😍 Beautifully 👍. Well articulated; We feel and think alike. Thank You for celebrating 🎆🎉 with me; such precious beauty joy to our ears 💘💖🌎 she is a true gift ❣️🎁
She no longer needs adjectives like "genius" or "young." She has all the skills and overwhelming presence to captivate the audience.

At her age, Himari expresses the music she plays more expressively and differentiatedly than Menuhin, Heifetz, Oistrach and all the other great violinists of the past. I cannot wait to hear her play Beethoven and Brahms, not only the concertos but also the sonatas of these two giants..
Crazy. She comes arround with a stardivari with 4 finetuners and a pinkyholder, like a beginner. And then such a highclass work. She goes her own way and its good that the teachers of curtis-institute let her. Hilary Hahn was told to moove more so the eye has something too. I like to see only the spontaneus mooves the music causes with Himari. May be in the future some people want her to make more show but I like her introverted play and I wish her enough selfconfidence to stay this way.
When I listen to this recording again now, it's as if I'm hearing it for the first time, because I notice nuances in the musical expression that either escaped me when I heard this recording before or that I simply forgot in the meantime. For example, there are nuances in the tone colour and vibrato that are easy to forget because they are so incredibly subtle and varied. What remains is the impression of something divine that you want to hear again and again. It really is incredible! The sounds of Himari and the orchestra, whose musicians play like great soloists, are like the scent of flowers and trees. Just as Bach, Beethoven and Brahms are a symbol of German music, Himari is already a symbol of Japanese music. Her face should already be depicted on the Japanese yen banknotes.
Student Recital: Oboe, Violin, and Piano kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKndq5WCnNGKrbs
