Ventilating ceiling outside makes it cooler inside house, good for tropical climate but not temperate climate of Europe, esp. winter. Little mud on filter foam's fine if it's pure soil since plants get its nutrients from soil, but we can't eat soil.
@kcmoguy88814 күн бұрын
@@johnsindayen8684 a soffit vent is supposed to provide airflow by drawing in cooler air from below and letting the the hot air exhaust through upper vents. It creates a convection current to prevent moisture buildup which leads to mold. The upper vents can be a turbine style or built into the ridgeline. Passive vents can also be placed near the roof ridge. You see these even in colder climates. A common mistake is when people add attic insulation and cover up the soffit vents thus creating mold. I don't recall seeing upper vents on the metal roof unless it's concealed in the ridge.
@kcmoguy88814 күн бұрын
@@johnsindayen8684 regarding the filter, if there is too much calcium, iron, or certain other minerals, the water can become hard which makes it difficult to create suds with soap in the clothes washer, etc. It can also cause dry skin. Calcium & lime can also create deposits on plumbing fixtures and requiing added maintenance. The water should be tested and analyzed for mineral content, bacteria and other contaminants.

Your water filter is collecting sediment, sand and particles 20-50 microns in size. A second filter should be used for drinking/cooking water. The secondary filter would use carbon (activated charcoal) to remove particles down to 5 microns. It would also remove chlorine if you decide to use that to prevent algae growth in the water tank. It would be good to have a water analysis to see if there is excess calcium or other minerals that would make the water "hard". It could also test for contaminants.

Two mistakes made by Robbie. Leaving the filter removal wrench outside could be eventually damaged by the sun, where does it say it is UV resistant? Most plastic will degrade in the sun, put the wrench inside the house for safekeeping. Second thing I see doing wrong, coming from being a dog trainer myself, is that you make the dog wait too long after obeying the command before giving the reward. You wait so long, to reward, that the dog thinks he did not do something right and is confused, this is even more important when the dog is just starting to learn the command and not well reinforced with how to act.

I agree with you on this; but also, when a dog is being trained, only the one training it should be speaking, not another person at the same time, as it confuses the dog. Commands should be quick and consistent… for the dog’s sake.
