Great video mate, I’m due an Eastridge visit I think, riding is awesome regardless of filming or not, I love it so much, I just love to relive it when I get home, gives me something to watch back, I’m only disappointed Ive not filmed when i get back home 🤣. I do think your content is unique, you stand out, it’s only the algorithm that prevents you growing ten fold, but none of that matters when we film to ride bikes, much better than the other way round, not mentioning any names 😄👍🏻

Thanks mate and yeah, Easty is such an ace place and always new stuff to ride there; I had a cracking day falling on my bottom and sliding uncontrollably down the hills 😂 Maybe I am shadow banned, that's apparently a thing now and not at all made up to try and qualify sod all views 😂

Yeah, it's so damned good and the two new trails I found were, erm, interesting in the greasy conditions 😂 I do wonder at times whether it's wise; first crash was probably down to not concentrating because I was waffling on 😂

Spot on Jase. Sometimes the wanting to film takes over the ride. Nowadays I just go for a ride and film it if I can be bothered. Probably explains being stuck around 300 subs for the last year or so as I don’t let it take over the ride. On the subject of riding we still haven’t got out for one…

Yeah, it really can get in the way of a ride at times, hence why I still use the local lockdown trails for the daft videos where there’s a lot of messing around; not bothered about the stop and start nature of it in the local woods. I also don’t tend to try and get 3rd person shots when there’s a few of us out but hopefully the silly interactions makes up for it. We’ll get out sometime soon mate 👍

Always enjoy the video content you make. You have a personal style which isn't I want the views and subscriptions it's just you enjoying yourself. Ride for pleasure, video for pleasure, put the two together double bubble.

Thanks mate. I think stopping really caring about views, subs and the like actually helped, as you can then do what you want without feeling like you should ride somewhere that will appeal, etc. still nice to get subs and have a video do well of course 👍

I miss Easty 😭 It really is a such a great place, and where you introduced me to off piste 😭🤣 Apologies for moving away 🙈 I full agree woth you, riding first, recording second. It is great when you don't record, all that faffing is removed from the ride. I just dont have a chat to keep it interesting, but i will happily ride tne same trails over and over, as like you say I enjoy it 👍🏻 Dizzys corner 🤣

It seems like everyone loves Eastridge, there’s a lot to love really. That first ride we did there was hilarious 🤣 I do prattle on a bit, it’s kind of my thing I guess, whereas yours is capturing the random stuff that happens and I love that, a totally different take on rides and different to the norm. There’s something so cathartic about riding without faff 🤣

Which clearly I hadn't 🤣🤣 Yeh we all bring something different for the videos, my riding doesn't make the cut so have to rely on guys for the entertainment 🙈🤣

I think that you're underrated as a mtb content creator. Funny as hell, never stops talking and slightly wreckless beyond your skill level. I think I remember one crash you had when you were talking before, during and after the crash without pause. And for you it's all about the riding, no pandering. I think it's brilliant entertainment.

Thanks mate, really appreciate that. I just try and make the kind of videos I enjoy watching if that makes sense. Thing with crashing is that I kind of expect it now as it happens so often; if you aren’t crashing then you’re not pushing yourself 🤣. Should I be pushing myself at my age? Hell yeah 🤣 All about the riding mate, was out most days after work last week, blatting around in the local woods (and doing a bit of trail maintenance). Massive grin on my face, covered in mud. Love it 👍

Chasing clout on social media is such a bizarre concept and I would argue nigh on impossible if you make videos about bicycles, so why compromise the thing you love for a couple of shiny buttons? Make videos because you like making videos but never let it get in the way of a good ride 👍
