I loved those blue dots but yesss do what YOU like! While doing junk journaling, I used to feel like it is useless doing it but I realized it makes me happy and that's an enough reason to do it!!

As an experienced cross-stitcher and multi-media journaler, I'm going to give you some tips to use or not use. Firstly, your needle is way too big to use on paper. Don't use a tapestry needle, use one for cross-stitch. Secondly, split your threads. You only need one or two threads on a thin paper page like this one, and four on craft stock weight. Finally, the best way to reduce bulk on a page is to use half the number of threads you need and fold them in half to create a loop where you would have tied a knot. On your first stitch, slip your needle through the loop to secure your thread to the page and continue from there. This will secure the thread and also reduce bulk between your pages. Let me know if you need a demo, although you should be able to find a video on any good cross-stitch site. 👍

You shop at Miso paper Snap! I know that Cherry blossom postcard anywhere, they sell really nice stuff like MU print, mini clear stamps, etc. I did altered books a while back but was faced with creative block I didn't know what to add on the page. Only when I had more time to play with Junk journalling, collage and mixed media I've discovered what themes I like. Vintage wirk well with everything. You did a great job in bring back the spread, keeping going is best option.
