Enlightened Equipment TORRID Jacket - Full Review

Reviewing the Enlightened Equipment Torrid Jacket! This is a beautiful mid layer jacket that I would highly recommend adding to your gear loadouts for any cooler climate or season outdoor adventure. Simply put it on and you'll feel that difference it makes immediately. I would not recommend this jacket as your Winter outer coat however as it does not do very well in preventing wind from passing right through but I really love how it covers the neck and cinches around wrists, waist and your head when you have the hood up.
One huge advantage over other down versions...this one can get wet and still keep you warm.
The Torrid is also available in a pull-over and collared version. Once you opt for a custom order, rather than only offering 7D and 10D shells, you'll be able to mix and match 18 different fabric and colour options with a range of 7D, 10D or 20D for the interior and outer shells.

Hi all. I just wanted to add to my comments that I mentioned during this review. When I got out of the forested area, there was a strong wind that hit through the jacket pretty hard and I felt all the sweat that was starting to accumulate between the jacket and the SmartWool 150 base layer I was wearing. Luckily I was just a short distance from home and luckily it wasn't all that cold. But if I was out in the open like in a field and I didn't have the extra layers to protect myself, I could have been at risk of hypothermia. It can be a bit of a stretch to think at times but make sure you layer properly!

Support from sweden bro! I love this jacket only negative break easy and fabric stuck in zipper. Great combo with the pants in deep winter
