contrary to common belief, true enlightenment is about un-learning, it's about truth realisation and the way to go about it is to destroy the false aka any held belief about anything be it religion, spirituality, philosophy, science ...

He didnt mention anything about seeing the nature of ones own mind. Many will not know what is the nature of ones own mind until they experience a glimpse of it. Venerable only explained what it is like to be englightened.
