Steel rounds shrapnel just fine, and will still wound several people in a small cramped space like a tank interior, however if penetrable, APCBC, or APHE, is the better round, because it has better shrapnel dispersal, ie, instead of the shrapnel behaving like a shotgun shell, it behaves more like a grenade

I usually take 2 shots to kill a stuard/Scott/Sherman... For the Stuard: Take 1 shot at the turret, then one on the UFP, you will most likely take out his entire crew after that, and if not, take another shot at the last person. For the Scott: Just shoot it anywhere and I will go kaboom, if not, then do the same thing as with the Stuard. I don't have faced a lot of Shermans, so I can't really give a ''how to kill ... guide''. If you play against the germans, here are also some tips: If it's a Puma, do the same as with the Stuard listed above, if it's a Panzer 3 N, try to shoot it's turret, as the armor is weakest there and if it's a Panzer 4, regardless if it is an J or an H, you can pen it with no problem, as Gaijin has incorrect armor values for them, I mean, I don't think a Panzer 4 J and H have 38mm of armor frontally.

Tank game play has to be more demanding in Enlisted, because infantry is dead after 2-3 MG rounds that can be shot through many obstacles like all wooden houses in Moscow campaign.

Pro tip - since you can’t just pen straight through the puma for whatever reason, there’s a 1 foot tall horrizontal plate at the back of it where the hull meets the turret. Hitting it there will usually kill 1-2 crew

I have no problem two hitting ammo racks on the Puma. One hitting if it's a 75mm. With HE. Which I shoot the HE at the ammo rack, on the side of the tank, even if it is looking straight at me. It still works. I'm not saying tanks aren't scuffed, just that I get around that with WT top tier meta, shooting ammo.

Wow someone took my experiences, recorded them, and put it on the internet of why I already uninstalled enlisted. Because unless you hit the magical spot, a tank in our games can eat 40 fucking shells. You ever just sneak up on an enemy tank literally 10 feet behind them in a german village and just lay 7 rounds into his engine compartment until some random Nazi sees what is going on and blows you up? The worst part is apparently I was doing so little he didn't even at any point begin to turn his turret around to face me. Gaijin logic, magical spot? 1 shot. Everywhere else? Will require a thousand shells.

Use HE and aim for the angled sides near the front plate. That's where the ammo is. Shoot there and you should insta kill it. When you get the 75mm guns you can vaporize them
