OH I forgot to mention that you should always shoot in burst unless someone right in your face, otherwise you'll be reloading after every kill essentially lol. But what do you guy's think of this gun?!

I agree with all of your points! We need new maps that are more close combat, Pacific is very open and mid to high range where the other SMGs are more usefull! I don't run assaulters or medics, so most of my smg ussage is with tanker so I don't mind any smgs. Also, this one doesn't have a bayonet :P

This is very valid ! I’ll just once the fighting gets to trenches and buildings I’d say the Americans have the upper hand more often than not so this does a good job leveling the playing field somewhat .

Actually there are also really early war options for a map Russia vd Japan. The most likely would be the battle of Khalkin Gol which was a five day lasting border conflict from 1939 with over 30 k casualties and over 100k soliders that took part on this battle

I think the pest way to use this weapon is probably in conjunction with the type 2 smg. Essentially the type to can be your all rounder, while the Tokyo arsenal is your short-range room-clearing blaster. Sort of similar to how some Americans will run the m3a1 grease gun with a shotgun.

The sheer fact this gun and the PPSh41 are both closer to 1400 RPM than the MG42 in game is just a crime lol.

They put this weapon on the Japanese side for pure matchmaking, since Japan, who obviously throughout the sgm had obsolete weapons "which is shown very well in the game" did not have a capable smg, it is more in the real specifications that it has 300 to 600 rpm, They added it simply so that people would play more Japan XD, like always a good video master

Nice review. But I am really confused whether I should upgrade to this gun from the Type 100 (late) smg. For one it has a manageable rate of fire and a quick reload. Plus you can kill enemies even at mid range with that thing. It also boasts a bayonet. I think I will have to try it out for myself.

I think you can dispatch people a little bit better if you can manage the recoil and shoot in burst . But type 100 late is really good tooo along with sig

Always duel weild assulters. Type 100 L is more accurate and has better range. Toyko arrsenal is the king in close range fighting

Yeah. True. I personally prefer running two assault squads for Japan just for versatility. They have a lot of unique SMGs to choose from.

I am a little bit disappointed with this smg. But still this smg is something that Japan needs. And i am sure Tokyo arsenal smg will be br 5 when darkflow force Japan into br 5.
