Just so you know for the future, you absolutely can save the save file itself somewhere else (or just rename it or something) and that way you can have multiple save files. The file is called LBAL.save, in appdata/roaming/godot/app_userdata/Luck be a landlord

I think removing the pearls is probably a great step, because pearls aren't like... rocks. all the other gems it eats are rocks, pearls don't form geologically, they literally just come from oysters. They could nerf geologist back into balance just by removing pearls from its list.

If anyone's wondering, the quiver pointing more than twice is a bug that has since been fixed, and even then it was only a visual bug, the third pointing didn't actually do anything.

At a certain floor level they introduce a "blank" symbol that gives nothing and can't be removed... but apparently Hex of Destruction can get rid of it (that's probably not intentional).

I think it is intentional, which is why they specified the duds can't be removed instead of that they can't be destroyed. Midas bomb also destroys them I think.

The higher floors give you some x symbols which can't be removed and give no coins, and also increase some later rent payments by 25 or so coins. They also eventually reduce the amount of rerolls and removals you get from emails.

I think reducing the amount it gives while also making it not being able to go for ores directly is an amazing idea so it would start of giving like negative 4 like real world geologist you don’t make money until your actually find something, this would make it not an insta pickup since combined with you having to have miner to break ores would lead to him only eating pearls until you get miner / ore combo, this would make it a much riskier take it would also make miner i little bit better since at the moment it’s just a worse geologist Also crab rave when ?

geologist is just plain broken and i love it. made 50 million coins in an hour by having 4 geologoists together with 9 gold arrows and 5 wild cards. my luckiest single roll gave me 10 million coins i one go but my game started to lag so much i had to quit.

I had a rabbit run yesterday, I had 100m ish coins by the end. I had to quit cause it was impossible to lose lol. Golden carrot, normal carrot, shedding season, lint roller, nori and lefty as well as a bunch of moons meant I was getting upwards of 10k per rabbit, golden arrows and wildcards pushed it up further. I'd gotten a bunch of diamonds earlier in the run before lint roller since my multiplier was p high and I had to start removing them cause they were worth less

i once had a run with a single geologist on 1000, and like 10 wildcards, and all the others were silver/ gold arrows. i got 2 gold arrows pointing on a geologist and I got around 500k in a single spin because all the wildcards were affected too, and arrows that point on a wild card increased all the others

Totally necroposting, but: I think geologist should: Not eat pearls (Why would he? They aren't rocks.) Start off giving 0 money Eat ALL rocks (even diamonds). That lowers his synergy with Dame and makes taking him a real investment. Also Ms. Fruit should absolutely eat rare fruits...
