ACTUALLY I also had this same experience. I had very intense infatuation with the two oshis that I dreamed about them like three times (not consecutively though, in a week span usually) and I may get obsessed for a week or two after that and then I just toned down Kept telling myself basically that theyre not my friend, I shouldnt feel so strongly about them, that theyre just another kind of entertainer, that they are a person behind, with a whole different life than me, may even have different personality than on screen, anything I do wont affect them and so much more deep thinking and I just stopped being too obsessed. I should appreciate them as who they are, entertainers and talented people. 👍🏼 Sometimes I still struggle though ngl when that deep deep want of relationship emerged but eh, I can handle it.

I've never gotten so stuck on a Vtuber that I'd consider myself obsessed, but the way I see that whole "person playing a character" situation is to separate the two in my head. Like, put your feelings for the character in a separate box from your feelings for the actual person behind them. It keeps them from bleeding over into each other. It's kinda hard to put into words and I'm not sure if it isn't just a weird quirk of my personality that I'm able to do that. Then again, I've actually been infatuated with fictional characters in the past so maybe that kind of thinking just comes naturally to me because of that. Anyways, I wouldn't sweat it too much. As long as you're aware of the difference enough not to start stalking the actual flesh and blood person behind the character you see on screen or post weird parasocial messages to their chat, I'd say you're probably fine. You can be in a relationship with whoever you want so long as it stays in your head and you don't get fantasy confused with reality.

I've even had a situation where I liked a specific character and even had personal conversations with the person behind that character (not a Vtuber tho) and have literally no feelings for the real person other than just appreciation. I guess I still found them attractive but it was always like...uh, no..that's not happening, I will stick with the fantasy character that you play on stage and have mostly made up in my mind lol. I guess I still do that with Vtubers pretty much. Don't get me wrong tho, some of the people behind some Vtubers are still really attractive if you actually end up finding out who they are irl, but there's just no reason to even bother pursuing because I'm sure it would be friggin weird for them to think of a fan like that. Plus that's mildly stalker-ish lol. I suppose if it wasn't the fan that was pursuing it might be fine, but even then there are some ethical issues.

Once after a Nightmare on Elm Street marathon I dreamt about Freddy Kreuger where we had a heart to heart and I convinced him to stop killing before I quite literally stabbed him in the back and killed him. Recently I had a dream about moving in as a roommate with the boys of Luxiem, chiefly featuring Ike, and I straight up like never watch that boy's content. (he seems very sweet and nice, he just rarely plays anything I'd be interested in watching someone play, so I have no reason to watch him) - dreams are just dreams. Eh, IDK if it really works that way with dreams. I mean, I've had dreams about specific people without thinking about them for ages, and been hyperfocused on a particular anime or game character and never had any dreams about them. Far as I know dreams are completely random. Then again, to have three nights worth of dreams about the same person, you'd think they'd have to be on your mind... People seem to have recurring dreams about things they're anxious over too. My sis has that happen a lot actually. I guess it's possible that they were worried about Enna? I mean, some of the things she says about herself might give some people cause to be worried sometimes. But again, to actually be worried over somebody you don't know, have never met, and only interact with a few days a week, you'd have to be thinking about them. Hmmm. IDK. Yes, sometimes. Your dreams are usually your subconscious mind trying to visually interpret what you are really thinking deep down. It often guesses completely wrong. One theory that I particularly like, is that the more stress you are under, or the more memories you keep locked away, the more abstract your dreams are, because your subconscious mind is too overwhelmed. If I were to put numbers on it, I'd say about 90% of my dreams are stories a random AI would generate. 9% of the time the dream has familiar characters or elements in it, but the way they are used is unrealistic, and about 1% of the time I have realistic dreams that are sometimes mistake for being reality. Like, dreams so real that I have on multiple occasions sometimes not know if I was in a dream, or in the real world. These are rare, though. As it regards vtubers, I once dreamt that holoCouncil were power ranger-esque characters that were saving me from something. Despite watching vtubers for 3 years, that is still the only time I have dreamt about vtubers.

Any emotional attachment to a person who doesn't know you is by definition a parasocial relationship. Parasocialism isn't necessarily a bad thing. Pretty much everyone will experience it to an extent, some more than others. It becomes a problem when you lose sight of reality and/or become completely obsessed with the person. As a general rule of thumb, as long as you understand that it's a parasocial relationship, you're probably fine.
