To be fair controllers for the xbox are pretty expensive 50 usd I've bought third party controllers for less than half the price and they've broken and even drifted like nothing else.

And if you were playing on PC, you’d have to invest extra for the official wireless adapter of the XBOX controller. Yes you can use Bluetooth with a cheap adapter but you lack the additional features you’d get with a Wireless Adapter.
