Enola and Tewkbury definitely have more chemistry than Eleven/Jane and Mike. I also think that Millie has a better and more independent personality as Enola than as Eleven. As Enola she's more "I'm an independent woman who don't need no man." Whereas, Eleven is more like, "Mike. Mike. Mike. I can protect and fight for myself, but I need Mike." Enola>>>Eleven

Enola was raised to be independent by her mother and grew up secure in her mother's love. Eleven was kept in a lab where she was abused and mistreated. Mike was one of the first people to show her kindness and she clings to him because she has had very few people in her life that she could trust. It's not Eleven's fault that she has been through so much trauma and we shouldn't judge her for needing Mike and the safety and security that he represents.

@@rebeccastilinski5356 you can prefer whatever you want but that does not mean eleven depended on mike. she just loves mike and being with him makes her happy so what is wrong with that? eleven does not need any protection if you watched series because she is the the one who always fights for the others. she does not need mike for living but she needs him to be happy . we all have people who make us happy and cheerful and mike is that person .she was all alone for 12 years and mike is someone she always trusts and loves so of course she needs him as a person.Enola was never alone .enola also loves her mother and she wanted to get her mother back because she wanted to be like old times when she and her mother were happy because her mother made her happy so much like how mike made el happy. enola also did not want to go beyond that hause which she and her mother lived like how el did not want to leave mike .If enola's mother would not escape enola would live with her mother gladly until she dies so she would not mind if she was away from society or friends because all enola wanted was just her mother .that is the same. both of them had their favorite people in their life and these people meant whole world for them. that is a human need. enola is also not different from eleven as emotionally.
