Best to taste test those to see if you want to add more them to your storage. Good thing to learn whether you & your family really like them before you stock up. Try different brands too. You find that you like some from each company but rarely all the flavours of any one company. Even in a crisis you'll want enjoyable food.

I completely understand that freeze dried food is easier to keep but in the event of SHTF water is going to be the first thing that's contaminated and those two pouches are not going to be anywhere near enough to re-hydrate them, trust me, I know having used the old UK military Arctic rations and we had all the snow/water we could want!!!

Your videos are very exiting. I wish I would have chance to get on of these CreeCube flashlights. In our weather condition the flashlight can be realy useful because 9 month of 12 are cold and dark nights and sometimes are nights so dark that without any light you have no chance to do anything.

So, many choices when it comes to subscription boxes; I been thinking about subscription boxes for a long while now. Thanks to your great reviews; I been able narrow my choices down to three. Tacpack, Battlbox , and Survival Boxes.. I would like to sub to all three; but I think my gf ( who is still on the fence about being prepared) might have a fit.. It might be worth getting an earful for a week or so.. unless I can find subscription box that is flower and jewelry themed.. take care...

Very cool video. The value seems to be there. I like that they rounded out the items to cover a wider variety of situations. Looking forward to seeing what how they follow up. Battlbox has been hit or miss with a Tendency towards overkill. Stay safe.

I almost fell out of the chair, when he said good price on the Johnson & Johnson first aid kit. Seriously 5 buxs is a good price? For a first aid kit that is barely enough if you cut yourself shaving. They are a $1.98 at walmart. People please don't waste your money on these boxes. The only thing even half way worth the price in this box is the seeds. No offense but he's talking everything in this box up like it's top of the line! But that's what your suppose to do when they send them to you free to do a review. Good lord I wish the people who do this would atleast be honest. Oh and you can get 100ct of emergency water pouches on amazon for 30 dollars lol, which is mayday not mainstay which has a bad reputation on anything they make.

How long is the shelf life on the seeds, food and water?

Incase you didn't know, there is a new alpha new member box. Just got mine today. It is different, knife is crap, comes with hydration straw, and they have a price on the seeds. I hoped for better, but it's not horrible. The knife however was very disappointing. Saw it at Walmart for under 5 dollars just yesterday in the fishing section.

Dynamic Prepper I'd say at first glance the knife was lack luster. Its carbon steel, has a good edge on it, but feels more like an oyster knife. It sits loose in its sheath, but overall not bad. I did use your code when ordering for survival and tacpack (waiting for tac as most are too) Fireproof matches, cree light, sol blanket, p cord w/ carabiner, knife, 4 water, tomato seeds, 2 food (teriyaki rice and lasagna) binder with card 1, ferro rod and striker, filter straw, insta fire pack. Overall pack value they say, 95.69 shipped. Paid just under 50 shipped. Overall value is good. Overall excitement, meh. They valued the seeds at 4.99 on my card. Most reviews I've seen have had free seeds, so that confused me. Love your videos, wanted to pass along the newest alpha box info as mine came in just this afternoon.

This box looks really cool. I am seriously debating an alpha subscription now. I want to see what October's box looks like first. Eno, I do have a serious question for you though. I know some of these subscription websites pay youtubers like yourself for reviews. Do you receive any compensation from these companies? I am not judging, just curious.

Thats called being an Affiliate. Some subscription box companies do have affiliate programs that KZbin channels that have proven an ability to drive sales through their reviews can be offered... its typically something you earn, not something thats just handed out... its usually based on how successful your promo code is. Most Subscription box "companies" are small entrepreneur type businesses that don't have big budgets for traditional advertising.... so they rely heavily on KZbinrs to review and promote their boxes. Personally I have different relationships with all the Sub box companies (7) I review... I am an affiliate for one, and am currently working on the details for a second affiliate deal. Everything that is given away on my channel is purchased for that reason by me. Thanks for watching.

First off I would like to say great job on the videos and keep up the good work. After watching this video and doing some of my own research I decided to sub to the ALFA box because of the variety of items you get it in. So far I have received this exact box you are reviewing and am very please expect for the Wise food. I am not a picky eater at all and I understand its not superposed to be a 4 star meal but this brand is horrible so far. I am a avid back packer and am very familiar to mountain house and some other freeze dried brands, all I enjoyed very much. The wise teriyaki rice was so bad I had to throw it away, It tasted like rice soaked in sweet jam of some sort and the lasagna although edible it was not good at all. I really hope they switch to another brand or us only mountain house in future or this could be a major deal breaker with me and this subscription.

Battlbox has four tiers, it's linear and easy to understand. I do not like SURVIVAL BOXES's set up of basically three unique boxes. Very unfortunate because their boxes have a nice variety of items that makes them stand out from the other sub Co.

Well this was like 2 years ago... boxes were revamped about a year back... the gear only and gear only xl are new boxes now. But yeah... the themes are the same for all boxes each month and do share some gear between the boxes... but i know a lot of people who sub the Bravo and Gear Only XL... that way you get lots of food, and lots of gear each month. Its a great combo.
