Have you watched when one person who does not know when the sign is right there, and they stand right next to the horse and start to pet it because the trooper is silent. What happens is that others smile and laugh and read the sign and do the same thing, go in the lines, and pet the horse. Creators are making money. Otherwise, people say it's boring to watch. I know it's okay for them to make money on troopers' backs. When troopers who stand up and do the job have very few people testing them.

I had an argument with someone who said the guards were still letting people touch the horses if they ask, couldn't get it through to her that there are signs saying you can not and that if one guard let's someone touch the horse others will try too...

The GUARD IS GUARDING not crowd control They are serving soldiers .That footpath is a public highway and belongs to Westminster city council so i am a bit confused as to whether they can actually stop people walking there especially the ones who just walk straight through the box furthest away from ythe horse as if they are on way to work
