There’s a board along the bottom of the fence that would prevent me from reaching the drain plug. It has to be unscrewed with a wrench.

Have your drains on the fence side, and as soon as you open it up, stick a corrigated pipe up against it and route the water away from the trough. I use around an 8' - 10' peice, and you can drain it out in a different spot each time and outside their area. 😊

Lester, I may be 58 but even at my age I enjoy learning especially about animals so yes, you are my favorite teacher. I'm 67 and I still get emails and FB messages from kids wanting to eat lunch or asking to friend request me. It still warms my heart when they share memories of when I was their teacher or tell my why I was their favorite teacher. I taught for 13 yrs., then was a counselor for 23, then a principal for 15 yrs and spent my last 3 yrs at the district level as a director of elem. ed. I am in the same town so many students went through school where I worked (about 9 schools. I am retired now but work part time as a counselor because of the shortage of counselors. Love how you are addressing the water for the bulls.

Lester, I believe the student was sincere with his comments. He came to greet you and make a nice comments. Oftens kids like teachers more than they let on or realize must afterwards that a certain teacher was actually tying to help them.
