In Nigeria we do not raise children to ask questions. The school and home system silence children and train to just accept and not question. This need to stop, that's why we have adults who never question anything. It's a foundational issue, one that's is very destructive in every aspect of life. I pray this chain will be broken.

You are right. I think the issue is Accountability. I was born in London raised in Nigeria and I live in London with my family. What people call development are good roads, infrastructure and such like and I do believe Africa needs to do better for its citizens. However I’ve lived in the Americas and Europe and Africa because I’m a missionary and what I can say is all societies are broken. Our problem may be roads and NEPA in Nigeria but knife crimes and gangsterism and many other forms of wickedness plagues Europe and America. So many live in nice house and nice neighbourhoods but have other forms of suffering that good roads or unemployment cannot solve. I have 4 sons and I know first had how the boy child is under attack in these developed countries. I’m not in anyway insinuating that things in Africa should be left as it is. Noooo. I’m in Africa I’m writing and lot of mindsets need to change. However I disagree with us fashioning our change to look like Europe or America. Their Liberty has brought them other problems, heavy problems. We need to find a good balance

Summer I married a pastor in Ghana and divorced him on our 7th year of marriage, I'm now living peacefully in the UK. Most pastors are bullying their wives secretly, talking from experience. My ex husband threatened me with death until one day he almost killed me physically because I'm from a well vexed Christian family too and I always had a problem his attitude as a "man of God" always fleeting and playing around female church members. When ever I raise the issue, hell breaks lose in our home, so I run as far as my legs could carry me 😥

I love the way Summer handled talking to her kids about relationships, sex and questions about the Bible. This shows that she has always been close to her kids from a young age and they are free to talk to her. This doesn’t happen overnight. Kids that talk to their Mom or Dad didn’t start when they are teenagers. They start from age 4 upwards. I hope and think my kids will be like that with me too when they get to that age.

We now know the anointed is ALL of us. Thank God for now giving us the gift of knowledge and by not being lazy, we can discern and rightly interpret the scriptures ourselves. As for doing the prophets no harm, if the prophets do harm to others they lose the privilege and open the door for consequences.

Thanks for this Summer!. Not that I wasn't aware of all the facts as elucidated by Mr Lumamba and your good self, but it reinforces my position when it comes to Christianity and religion in general. You have to stay woke and be true to God, your creator. Not any church or man. We have to all emancipate ourselves from religious mental slavery. Africa is almost lost. White men brought religion to enslave us the first time. Now our Pastors and Bishops are enslaving us the second time. So very unfortunate.

I listened to this man and believe me I concur with everything he said. If you listen very well to him, he’s always saying “some pastors” but when you and most Nigerians talk, they say “pastors”. Casting an overall blanket on all pastors which you’re equally guilty of. When you talk, say “ some pastors” and not “pastors” . Fake pastors have always existed right from the days of Jesus Christ on earth and that is why he expressly warned “....beware of fake prophets”.
@summeraku
@summeraku 3 жыл бұрын
So how did I say all pastor when I clearly talked about my pastor and how things are done differently in my church. Did you miss when I talked about the pastor that apologized after his church member came against what he said. Show me exactly where I said all pastors.
@wilcoxbrown275
@wilcoxbrown275 3 жыл бұрын
Summer Aku Vlogs why don’t you listen to your video all over again, at no point when compared to this man did you ever use the word “some pastors” instead you said “these pastors”, “their pastor” and towards the end you said “ I come from a country where pastors not “some pastors” are worshiped as mini gods” , at no point did you ever use the word some pastors. When you fail to use the word “ some pastors” then you’re implying “ all pastors”, that’s the truth. The man, unlike you was careful enough to use the phrase “ some pastors”. I would have had no issues with you if only you had used the phrase “ some pastors”. Don’t try to creat the narrative that all churches and all pastors back in Nigeria are bad. That you weren’t opportune to have belonged to a good church or have a good pastor back in Nigeria doesn’t mean others didn’t. Many of you back in the mid 80s and early 90s when most of these corrupt churches were springing up got carried away as a result of material lust. Many of you fell to their snare.

One of the best feelings as well as consolations I get is when l discover that there are people who share the same views as I do on certain issues. Most times the views in question are so unpopular that you only ponder on them in your mind, able to express yourself ONLY when you come across someone who has some kind of an independent mind, able to think for him/herself, else you risk being labeled a REBEL. Believers in Nigeria and Africa need to wake up and think!!! I am not against pastors, neither am I against the body of Christ (I am a Christian), but a clear line has to be drawn between men of God and The God of all flesh! Even the most anointed of men is not infallible and the people must be made to understand this BY the men of God THEMSELVES. There is nothing as beautiful as coming across a man of God who is able to speak of his failings, weaknesses, struggles and all. It is one way to call one’s followers back to their senses, reminding them that he is also one like them! When all we hear are your victories and winnings and celebrations, you appear to have mastered the art of flawless existence, without pain and sorrows, only bliss and beauty. That’s very delusional. This is one of the reasons why believers here in Nigeria are after an endless quest for that holy grail of heaven on earth experience. Not in this world is that possible!!! All these can be attributed to a lack of balance in the dispensing of scriptural truths. I’d leave this point for now. Thank you for reinforcing my thoughts and beliefs on certain issues that I have had in mind for quite some time now. I am glad that you are speaking from the perspective of a practicing Christian, not some random person who is probably anti-church and does not belong to any denomination of the body of Christ. The healings would have to begin from amongst us and I am happy you are a member of the body. Daalu. Chukwu Gozie ma Chebe gi. 🙂🙂

My dear Summer, it is very refreshing seeing you speak the way you do with so much enthusiasm, zeal, eloquence and wisdom. What you, and many Nigerians, are witnessing and speaking out about today sadly did not begin today. To understand and appreciate the monumental problem we see today in the society of Nigeria, you will have to travel back into history. Nigeria has, and had, not always been like this. Prior to the civil war, Nigeria was a thriving economy where there was dignity in labour and in all that you did. When you graduated from university, you were ushered into a job, there was no shortage at the time. And when it came to the basic needs of human existence, i.e. education, shelter, health, food etc, you would have gotten all these as your basic human right. But you see, after the civil war and into the 80’s the economy of Nigeria started sliding into an abysmal state of decay. From the top, there was corruption, mismanagement and all the ingredient to sink a thriving economy. As my mother once said, when you look after the stomach, everything else will be taken care off. So, in that regard, there was hunger in the country, lack of opportunity and the inability to satisfy them. As such, in his/her bid to seek redress, the common man turned to one thing that seemed unchangeable, the church. It gave people hope! But as with anything, it was abused. The man you presented in your video, Prof P. L. O. Lumumba, is an eminent professor of Law. If you have not done so yet, I urge you to watch some of his videos and see how he dissects the problem of Africa. Then you would understand that the problem we see is deep-rooted and goes beyond the church. As a Christian myself living in the UK, I see the same problem as you do. The solution to this is to bring back and restore the institutions that gave people dignity in their lives i.e. free schools, free judiciary, free healthcare, efficient agriculture productivity, dignity in work etc. Until these are done and achieved, I am afraid many will be held captive under the shackles of these demagogues demigods!

I couldn't agree less. The truth is: the glitz and glamour of life have increased since then too. People had the basics and were content. We had the middle class to which the greater percentage of the populace belonged. Today, success is measured in material things. The average graduate today wouldn't want to be seen as living below the expected. Jobs/works that were honourable and well-paying have since lost their positions to the "entertainment jobs". Honesty and hardwork have been replaced with bribe and who-you-know. What this has caused is leaving for us round pegs in square holes. Our predestined doctors would rather become politicians; our teachers would rather be actresses; our environmentalists would rather be IT experts. "As long as it would fetch the dough, go for it" seems to be the song of the day. For it's like, without all of these superfluous material things to show forth, God isn't good to you or you aren't Christian enough. Sadly, the above-mentioned mirrors the mindset of some Christians.

I love this video. Thank you very much for having this discussion. • “Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm” has been purposefully taught wrong. That scripture is God speaking to King’s during that time who was seeking to kill the priests who was traveling. Pastors are not above reproach. • What the Berean people did when studying the word, was an example as to what all people of The Creator should do. • There’s a 5 fold ministry in the church structure. If The Creator “called” them, their conscience will not allow them to accept a salary. • The 10% that the church speaks of was for the Jews “they say.,” not really for the gentile’s. It’s suppose to be used for the poor and widows. How many churches does that? • Most people don’t know that the Bible is a tool of weapon that’s blended with truth spirituality. (Jesus, Moses, Abraham is not in African history. Actually, the Jews that resides in Israel doesn’t believe in Jesus) • The Bible is 2000 plus years old, the world is much much older. • The vast majority of pastors are taking advantage of the church. • Asking questions has caused me to be basically ousted, blackballed from the church. • That which we have been taught in scripture is mixed with paganism. This is the very reason why we must study and rightly divide the word. • Scripture states, that which we search for is not in heaven, he (The Creator) has already put it in us. • People must remember, the pastor can’t save you, only The Creator can. They’re suppose to “teach/preach the gospel.” • Yes, we are always learning truth that’s been buried under mans evil lies. We can’t blame that on Satan, man hands did this. ❤️ Thank you, thank you, thank you sooo.... much for this subject. 💕🤔✌️

May the Mord continue to use you and bless you and keep you and yours. To me, this is one of your best videos so far, if not the best. I've always said that the word of God does not need human interpretation, but revelation, which is given, only by the Holy Spirit. Please keep it coming. The Lord will continue to give you more revelations and the boldness to share them.

Summer, Summer... I am so pleased with the answer u gave to ur children. Study to show urself approved not open a church to show urself approved... I like what ur doing and I really want to reach u. What Platform can make that posible? There are alot to correct in African churches and their believes on what Christianity really mean. I want u to do a message on THE PARENTS RESPONSIBILITIES TO MAKING THEIR CHILDREN STAND FOR THE TRUTH NOT JUST BEING GULLIBLE CITIZENS OR CHURCH GOERS. Africans - Nigerians' inability to stand on their ground of truth can be tracable to parents. When we were children, our parents injected us with a syndrome to always accept, obey and respect what ever anyone says simply because the one is older. Somebody will oppress u and when u react, ur parent will look for a fault on ur side to blame u instead of looking at the matter. Vigilantees, police, Army, school teachers, older neighbors etc Will oppress u and in the end parents will blame u for every little fault that comes out of ur reactions without even teaching u anything. Parents made us feel that we have to accept and be humble to everything someone says or do so long the person is older, a teacher, pastor or rich man. This parents actions have made many African - Nigerians so timid. It started from the neighborhood and has entered into the church. This is Why we have GULLIBLE people all over African - Nigeria and even in their churches. It took me studies of the bible to stand on my ground plus u guys teachings on the internet. Please I want u to help with that teaching to parents in raising up their children. God bless u Ma. 08135200722

Summer, let Elohim by the power of the ruach hakordesh continue to inspire and bless you in what you do...it is written by the prophet Hosea "my people perish for lack of knowledge "" not for lack of miracles or all the other gifts that are a products of the spirit. Our people have to grow in the word.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith. In English "rebuke" meaning : express sharp disapproval or criticism of (someone) because of their behaviour or actions. So let them be exposed fake preachers.

I just subscribed to your channel today. Just listening to you, I can tell your a very truthful person. It’s so sad that in the society we live in today, pastors have to chew the food for their members and tell the members to swallow it because none of them can chew or think on their own.

Great video. You are completely right. Nigeria is not an easy place to live . people out every day frustration can not think clearly. I was duped many times in the name of God.They some how manipulate you to give your money to them .The sell prosperity and most people want to make sure the prosper .Those people like that are majorly prey. it's only when You are well fed. You can really think.it is a pity. Please my sister don't give up the calling You are doing .do it with all diligence. God will not forget the labor of love .maybe one day the will wake up and receive the truth and dethrone the evil men who calls them self men of God

Summer you officially made me your biggest fan ever, Iove you my sister, let me tell you, my grandmother died not long ago at the age of 94, the church said she was owing 2months arrears in tithe and that she must pay up before her burial otherwise the church will not bury her. This was the 2 months she was in the hospital and couldn't attend church. Yes in some churches they have register for tithe...disgraceful right? These poor masses that are being exploited should wake up and realise that religion is a personal journey and does not need to be monetised.

1st Commandment " I am the Lord thy God, thou shall have no other gods obove me" nowadays daddy GO's, MOG, are worshipped and reverence more than God the creator of heaven and Earth. When will these blind followers learn to read the Bible to understand? They blindly and foolishly take whatever comes out of a pastors mouth as truth. They only use Bible content to justify their adoration of pastors " touch not my annointed" and attack who ever tries to correct or show them the truth in the Bible. No worries last last all we go dey alright
