While some people considered Folorunsho as a Yoruba name and alien to Esan land where he hailed from , the people of Bendel state voted for him as the Governor of Bendel State on ground of competence. Alli did not disappoint us. He founded almost 1000 schools, four teacher training colleges, Ambrose Alli University, three polytechnics etc. Alli fought and established the right for non - federal universities to be accredited . He also won 12% derivation for oil producing state . The people of Lagos state must learn from Bendel experience. We must rise above primordial considerations of name , ethnic identity of spouse etc. Vote for competence and reject those who sentence the people to serfdom.

We are not talking about the entire country, but the Southern region. Afenifere for example, can not detect what should happened in the North. The North also has a group called, (AREWA Consultative Forum) ACF, which ought to address that imbalance and inequity in the rotation of power in the North. Hence, it was the turn of the South, to produce president, Afeniferi, as an integrity group from the Southern region decided to threw it's weight behind South East presidency for fairness and justice as regard the region and not entire country. Don't forget also, that Afenifere is not Aline in this, but the South - South, PANDEF too.

Ethnic hate is gradually worsening in Yoruba land. As a South-South man, I watch the turn out of events and I find it very disgusting. Before now, we have accused the Hausas of of Ethnic and religious violence but this is gradually worsening in a land that is supposed to be very educated. This would be the first time the Igbos are voting massively for one of their own and you already want to die. Its a big shame. These are illegal taxes they are collecting from poor people making little income. Unfortunately, all the money is going to a few top guys. That's why MC Oluomo is strikingly rich. 90% of Agbero's metamorphose to armed robbers after a few years. The Agbero leadership promise those Agbero's that if they work hard, they would move up. So, after working hard for like 5yrs and they realize their case is like "monkey dey work, baboon dey chop", they turn armed robbers. That's why Lagos can never be secured until Agbero system is taken out. In a nation like America, the Govt will silently "take out" the likes of MC Oluomo and a few of his guys. They know once the key guys are no more around, there won't be a coordinated leadership to resist them when they destroy d structure. If GRV wins, he should go study how advanced nations use wisdom to end this kind of menace naturally.
