🟣 Enoxaparin -
1. Low molecular weight heparin
2. Anticoagulant
3. Parenteral use (S/C, I/V)
4. Action - Increase activity of antithrombin lll (AT lll), Selectively Inhibit factor Xa (Clotting factor)
5. Use - Myocardial infraction (MI), Pulmonary embolism, Deep venous Thrombosis (DVT)
6. Adverse effect - Bleeding, Heparin induced thrombocytopenia, Osteoporosis

Sir, Enoxaparin (LMWH) is indirect thrombin inhibitor under parenteral anticougulents . My question is that can we dilute normal heaparin in NS and make it LMWH ? eg:- 5000 iu/ml in 05ml vial 1000iu / ml Dilute in NS and make it LMWH ? And second question is how much IU in 01mg respect to Heaparin.
