Sir, salamat po ng marami. Amazing lecture, as always. Dagdag ko lang po siguro? Hehe. Yung sa Assessed Value po from Assessors. Yun po kasi ay nakaindicate sa Tax Declaration of Properties na iniissue ng office nila. Usually, meron po doong dalawang values. Yung Assessed Value at Market Value. Yung Market Value po kasi, instead of Assessed Value, ang ginagamit sa computation ng Estate Tax. Padagdag din po siguro na yung mga namatay before TRAIN Law (2018), 6 months after death lang ang period of filing of estate tax of the decedent. 👍🏻 Yun lang po Sir. Maraming salamat po. Galing ng approach nyo sa pagtuturo. Saludo po ako sa inyo.

On the subject of real property, you take the higher of the assessed value or the zonal value of the property. Is this value still AT THE TIME OF DEATH? And how do you verify the accuracy of the valuation?

Kung lot na included sa Gross Estate ay ginagamit as Family Home at ang value ng lot ay P1.2MM (forming part of the Gross Estate), magagamit pa ba ito uli as deduction from gross estate as Family Home (max of P1.0MM) in ADDITION to the P5MM Standard Deduction?
