I believe it was in 2014 when Enrike came to Olinda, Pernambuco, together with Savall and his main percussionist. I was studying music at the time, in a technical high school from a neighboor state (I went to mathematics later). A lot of us from the school traveled to see Savall. It was great. The memory of Solinis' solo was long lasting - I've been following this youtube channel for years, also having the privilege of actually hearing the misterious basque language for the first time. Thank you.

El maestro de la cuerda pulsada, tuve la suerte de tener una masterclass con él antes del verano y hace menos de una semana me encontraba en la casa del constructor Jose Miguel Moreno tocando la guitarra barroca que enrike toca en este video (la cual ha cambiado por otra hace poco), estoy ahorrando para ver si la puedo comprar porque aparte de que la ha tocado el legendario Solinis, en general es una guitarra de inmensa calidad

Las vascongadas en el barroco estaban muy actualizadas y llenas de viajeros. Pero el video muestra que el barroco popular se quedó en la edad Media en Navarra, Viscaya o Guipuzcua. Tipo, el rabel no era un violín, ni la viola de gamba un instrumento popular.
