He found corona guilty not because of the evidence presented by the prosecutors but what it comes out when the impeachment is going on,..enrile convicted corona because corona didnt declared his saln in peso instead it is in dollar wich is 50x higher than his declared assets..means corona lied to his saln..that is what makes enrile convicted corona even justice cuevas admitted that corona has a mistake by declaring his assets in dollar not in peso....

Part of the reason was political. Enrile did not want to be disgraced for voting not guilty to Corona as the average joes would see it as reprehensible, give that they greatly believed that Corona was guilty. Voting not guilty would had had detrimental repercussion to his political career in the future
