That 's the END GOAL by design ! To legalize 'undocumented immigrants ' - logic dictates that the learner needs a home and a parent/s for their care and well being . Of course , this then means the parent or caregiver needs employment to provide basic necessities like shelter and food and therefore their status should be 'legalized' . So the next logical step is that they must have equal access to employment as SAN's to achieve the above . It does not end there ! Once the child reaches 18 , as they been socialised to SA for so long - it makes sense to grant them citizenship to qualify for benefits like NSFAS for tertiary education as this is the next logical phase in their education and skills training for gainful employment in SA - not 'scarce skills' - access to employment at any level . What should have been in the Bela bill was that all children should be in school. Its daft to state in policy children of undocumented migrants should be in school, because you are then effectively giving the green light that's its okay to an illegal immigrant when the Immigration law said its not okay. This is what DA and others should have taken to court, instead they focussing on excluding along racial lines.

You fail to understand that the DA is in support of illegal immigration. The DA only oppose the right to teach with your language, that is Afrikaans, it is okay with illegal immigration. Zille has said it many times that Zimbabweans are hard workers. Right now the Hellen Suzman Foundation, has been fighting for ZEP not to be cancelled and now the DA minister of Home Affairs has extended the ZEP for Zimbabweans.
