An alternative to carrying lockpicks & a better way to save space in your inventory is to just make sure you have some scrap metal (and it's easy to pick it up as you explore), since you can just craft lockpicks as needed from your scrap metal pool on the spot without needing a workbench or wasting a dedicated inventory slot for lockpicks. This method has stood me in good stead throughout my playthrough. Also, in addition to double-jump, I recommend everyone get Updraft, since it can increase your glider flight time by at least 25%, not to mention that in those cases where you are coming in just a bit low to land on top of a hill above the shroud, you can hit updraft to boost yourself above the cliff edge instead of smacking into it & falling into the shroud.

It appears to only save the terrain or objects you change within your flame range.

This is such a bummer, too. I dug out a path along a hillside before I knew any better expecting to save time in the long run, and I watch in horror as a half hour passes and my work got deleted.

Yeah just use the axe for wood doors and pickaxe for everything else. You can also use the thrown bombs or cut down the wall next to the door.

I assume the respawned items are intended for the sake of not messing with another player's experience. Like if you took all the resources in an area, they wouldn't find anything.

I always found it amusing when people have to tell people to carry a lock picks like picking locks wouldn't be a thing when lock picks are in the game.

Did you already beat and shrouded or are you still playing it? I just started a little bit ago and I can't really play cuz my friends. We have a world and they like never have time to play as a group so I'm pretty much hindered to playing solo and is boring as hell.

Never take a torch 😂it takes space and you cant use it with a weapon ..just get the magic light

The timing of this game is terrible. Pal world is absolutely taking the world by storm. The second most concurrent players ever on steam @1.8 million players!!

I agree. Pal world looks decent but not my style, Enshroud is gonna grow more and more but that’ll be up to the devs

​@pr0cs it was either or for me. I only had time for one game and have been waiting for enshrouded for awhile. Palworld came out, I played it and loved it, so I skipped enshrouded, as did my whole friend group. We all will probably come back to enshroudee in a month or two if it does well. I really want to play both I just only have so much time.

@@seth7764 you just said "will probably come back and try Enshrouded" so no it's really not either or. Both games are EA, so neither are actually complete games. Eventually during a lull, one or the other will get an influx of people saying "well i've seen everything possible in game X now, I want to try something new but in a similar vein"
