Won't a combined -40% penalty reduce the maximum amount of mana so much that you won't be able to even cast the max level spells that uses most of your mana? Maybe a ring of rapacity and the lord commander ring so you have adequate mana level and a good recharge rate.🤔

@@Nightowl5454 the ring of rapacity and lord commander's ring are both bugged, and don't actually give or take a %. the ring of rapacity just takes 20 flat mana, and the commander's gives 30 flat mana. you do wind up being able to cast way more spells before running out with 2 rings of rapacity

You probably covered the ground path for lower-level folks. But wanted to mention with the updraft skill, you can use updraft, cancel your glider, quickly redeploy, then updraft again. Repeat as long as you have the mana for it. If you get the skill that pulls health to refill mana, and have good health regen, you can fly forever.

I've been trying that and for some reason I can't get the updraft to redeploy properly. By the time I get the updraft back on after cancelling I've lost so much altitude I am worse off.

Also, another important thing I will add, once you have two of the mana rings - your gliding becomes OP. With the Updraft perk, you can get a small height boost at the cost of mana. However, if you cancel out midglide, and then immediately start gliding again, you're able to utilize this perk again. With a little bit of practice this becomes absolutely insane

Thanks a lot ! I've been playing a lot with some friends and we're pretty much at the endgame I thik. I fell in love with the mage build in this game (even tho I'm always playing a tank or a paladin), and I've played a lot with wands build. But now that we have access to good and strong spell, I really needed mana regen and was sad that we've never loot a mana regen ring (talk 'bout luck !). Thanks to you, I will finally feel that my build is complete. Keep up with simple but well explained and efficient videos !

they still have a ring at that same spot. just on the left side under a similar board. its called "Ring of Rapacity" it give -40 mana and +3 mana regeneration. if you wear two your down -80 mana😁

I did a tank build with blink ability that does fire damage. I also went down the magic tree boosting fire damage and grabbing the ability that has chance to reflect damage as fire damage. If you take points down warrior tree as well you get the leap attack after a roll then find ring or weapon that has reflect damage and fire magic damage. You can blink at first enemy then attack causing an explosion and huge melee hit. If there is 3+ you will have +30% armor causing the shock wave and explosion on the leap. Every enemy will also start taking fire damage who tries to hit you while you attack. It’s pretty fun melee build you can zoom from enemy to enemy melting them. Keep a flame wand with you for flying enemies and poison bosses

On the NE of that camp there is 2 chests that drop up to legendary gear, a flame right by it. and a third chest on a swing right by the bridge. Built a base on the north mountain for most my early mid game items. First chest is in the basement of the NE building. It can be cheesed by fighting from the roof. Then head due west to the flame where there are three archers. Just past the flame is ledge you jump across to get the second chest in a small cave. That town is loaded with honey and lots of goodies on the windmill. Great farming area.

You can either go this route or go for specific talents to heal and turn hp into mana and have infinite mana loop either way. The talent route is good imo because you get passive healing but it is a big talent point investment.

Sorry deleted my comment after reading other comments about how this ring was basically destroyed lol. The other rings I have gathered for use as magic dps are listed below. Ring of Mana Rare quality +20 Mana +2 Mana regen The other one is a draw between these two. Commander's Ring Legendary quality +30 Mana +30 Health Or Ring of Endless Life Legendary quality +6% Life leech chance I know mana is important but so is staying alive also lol just not sure how well the leech ring is. Are the better rings out there?

Its a bug like the rake bug , that if you didnt craft it once before unlocking the sequential recipes it bugs out and you lose the recipe , what you can do is either start a new world and craft a candle as soon as possible and transfer it to your main world , or join a public server, craft it there and transfer it to your main world , to unlock the recipe

Just take the blood mage perk, you'll actually never run out of mana. That plus the heal aura and you have an immortal mage. I was able to 1 shot a level 30 boss without even using any food buffs and potions. Just be warned... it will totally trivialize the game. I only recommend using it if your just trying to farm end game content. Otherwise just play what you find fun.

What I find fun is a pure tank, but the game doesn't seem to agree and melee is brutal to play in this game. So now I just stand as a meat shield while my lady kills stuff as a mage.

Eternal spells are unlocked by doing the alchemists quests/finding more alchemy ingredients. You craft them in his crafting menu.

You need to upgrade elthe alchemist by doing his quests. You will eventually be able to craft them (except for the lightning spells they don't seem to have eternal versions AFAIK)

Off Topic situation I'm stuck on. I am trying to do the "A Crucial Investigation" quest where you need to kill the Matron in Glenwood's End. My problem is that she doesn't spawn, so I can't complete the quest. Anyone have an idea on this?

Some spawns are sadly super bugged. Had the same happen with a toxic fat dude in the kindlewastes. Just does not respawn anymore.

I wouldn’t say so, I actually read this and decided to do the same. I’m at max lvl and have just about got all shroud roots, I barely have enough points to make my build work right and I don’t have any points in anything that boost mining or chopping trees. I don’t even have the points to get glider boost. I did a tank build all the way down without grabbing the group play perks. Then into the warrior tree to pick up shockwave and the roll dodge leap. I then went into the magic side and picked up blink, flame burst on the blink and blink while stunned, then boosted fire damage and grabbed the perk that reflects damage as fire damage explosion. It cost me all my points but wow is it fun. You blink into a pack of enemy cause a shockwave and fire explosion, regen health on your hits and every time they attack you there’s a chance they will reflect the damage back as fire damage.

I got a legendary shroud damage wand just northeast of your spell farming and legendary chest farm, on a cliff overlooking the shroud. The chest wasn't even buried; just next to some ruined house. There's a level 30 drake that flies there, so be careful.

@@tristianvance5223 Sorry, I was asleep. It's called "helix" a shroud damage wand. I don't have any nearby named landmarks, but it's due south of "Lupa's Lair" and due north of the main archway that has the path leading to the area in your video about farming high level spells. There is a very small trench of shroud just south of it in this angle \\. There are some thin columns of sandstone there and a ruined house, covered in sand, next to the cliff face overlooking the shroud. On the north side of this ruined building, next to a dead tree is the chest with sand around it, not buried. Just to the northeast of this location you can see 2 circular parts of land peeking out of the shroud. From the east of this location, a level 30 bird can fly in. This chest has dropped almost all legendaries besides the armor set, and many I've never seen before, even though I farmed a lot of chests. It's the best chest I've found.

With near unlimited mana, if while gliding you use the lift and then press cancel then jump again. You can use lift again. This essentially lets you fly unlimited (or limited only by your mana) Youre welcome.

On the archmage build you can use 2 of them. You will have enough mana to spam and cast all spells anyway. You can also take out a few points in spirit and redistribute them into f.e. shroud damage.

I'm using them now for a build similar to his S tier mage build and they are very strong. I dropped Wanderlust and Necromancer from his build and picked up Updraft+Airborne. If you rebind the cancel to something other than RMB (I'm using C since you can't crouch midair anyway) you can cancel and use updraft multiple times. With lots of endurance you can fly for an absurdly long time and gain massive height. I'm not sure why he chose the Necromancer skill as I haven't found a great use for it. If anyone has some insight I'd like to hear it. The wisps spawned by it don't seem to do any damage at all but they do draw some aggro which was the only benefit I found.
