You were the first person on Enshrouded i watched to blend furniture, and i used your idea of using the alchemy bench in the kitchen as a cooking pot. Now im going to have to thank you again, not only for your stunning work on the PRW 4.0 and your hallowed Hall looks amazing, but this idea for the barns is something im going to have to use in future builds. Once again thank you, your works really appreciated.

You're good at explaining things clearly. Voice is pleasant to listen to. Good tone and pacing and thoroughness. Weird comment, I know, but a lot of tutorial videos go too fast or skip over important details they probably expect me to know. You'd make a good teacher, or Dad. Thanks for the building tips.

I do try my best not to do the "skip over fine details" bits without it also sounded overly simplified. It's a tough line to walk and easy to step left or right.

Brilliant ideas! One tip: if you dont want to see the beds, place them before putting down the vukah nesting stuff-- the animals still use them as normal. Looks more natural imo. Cheers!

I wonder what the new moss terrain is like instead of dirt. I'll have to give it a try tonight.
@delindsay2 ай бұрын
It's mossy that's for certain. You could honestly spread some of that plus some flower soil around to make a superior looking "yard".

I did the same thing with the bedding stuff !! That gate stuff is cool... Thanks for the video ! The only difference is I used flower soil as a kind of mud on the opposite side of the nesting material 😁P.S. Have you ever played Nightingale? The building is pretty cool in that as well !! I started watching your Starfield videos , here we are now :)
@delindsay2 ай бұрын
100% on the Flower Soil and maybe even some Moss tossed in for a fun effect. I was originally going to play Nightingale but something distracted me at the time of it's launch and I've been fairly busy/active since it came out with other projects.

where did you find the vukah nesting material? I can't seem to find it.

In the Blackmire just mine the roof of the Vukah houses. I believe that's how I got it initially.

I had no idea that you could sink the gate into the ground like that. I wonder if this also works if you build on terrain?
@delindsay2 ай бұрын
It does indeed however, you'll need to place some kind of block down where you want it as a base or the Gate will end up at a wonky angle.
@tracilane5671Ай бұрын
@@delindsayah so this is why this happened lol. Been tearing my hair out trying to get the gate straight.
@delindsayАй бұрын
@@tracilane5671 Yeah, even when you use a square to chunk out the ground, the Terrain is still uneven according to the game, thus placing a single layer of blocks at the desired height (down below) gives you that flat base.
@KrisPage32 ай бұрын
you can use a hoe to strech the land too if you have limited resourses. unless they changed it
@delindsay2 ай бұрын
Correct, it'll use 1 or 2 of a Material for a large area.

The problem I'm running into, and I'm sure other's are as well, is animals standing at an angle, with their butts or heads up in the air. I'm thinking it's due to holes under the top layer of base, whether that base is dirt/rocks or building blocks. Have you encountered this, and if so, did you find a solution? Great 'barn'! I'm working on one now and I like the gate idea for the sides. Looks great!
@delindsay2 ай бұрын
The Animals do stand at odd angels quite a bit. I don't really have a solution for it though.

hi! you've helped me out a lot in my build with the PRW. And I love that you update it and it's still free. I sometimes host it when I can, is that ok with you? Sorry for only asking now
@delindsay2 ай бұрын
No worries at all. PRW isn't "mine" I'm just the current caretaker. Crazyloon built it originally and I helped by supplying all the Books. I took over around the Hollow Halls Update when he took a break from Enshrouded.

Great video! but man you got a whole hot bar, use it instead of swapping out the items one at a time lmaoo
@delindsay2 ай бұрын
Yeah, it's just a weird habit of mine.
@beckyp8672 ай бұрын
Why do you continually remove your hammer off your hotbar and not just leave it there and put your placeables onto a different slot. Seems overly tedious. Thanks for the build video, enjoy seeing how other craft interesting structures.

Weird idiosyncratic thing in my head. Habit I guess.
@madisonshaw894Ай бұрын
For anyone struggling to replicate, the ground needs to be flat 4 blocks down. I tried replicating on terrain and it kept giving me an error that its not a proper surface. Also, make sure you are using the correct gate. I used the other one that looks similar and it was giving me a hard time.

Indeed, and I stated as much in the video.

This looks awesome and I'm definitely gonna use it on my floating island cluster. But My God dude!You don't need your weapons, your pickaxe nor your torch for the video. Replace them with the stuff you need for the video instead of constantly opening your inventory to switch them up in the same slot. It gets annoying really quick.
