You'll find the best metal vocalists performing traditional C. carrols - yes, in a heavy metal way. The lyrics are in finnish except on one album, Ragnarok juletide. Some metalheads crucify this project as ridiculous but personally been enjoying Raskasta joulua for a decade now. From small club shows to the arenas they fill nowadays. These live shows are pure love. They have at least 5 albums incl. an acoustic one, and then there is Ragnarok in which the fin trads. are translated into english, and other world wide known carrols are done 'our way'. If interested check out: Home for Christmas (not a trad.) by Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica White Christmas by Jarkko Ahola from ao. Teräsbetoni, solo A Sparrow on a Christmas morning (fin trad.) by Marco Hietala Ave Maria by Marco and Floor, preferably the official live at Hartwall arena 2017 version. Now of course these are Christian carrols for a Christian feast, if you feel that that presents a problem just naturally forget about my succestions. Btw.
