I remembered how much I bawled when they released Dear Dream and during Mark's graduation + their crying fest during their first concert without Mark. And their OT7 concert was today so it's like a full circle with Dream for me.

ahhhh yes nct dream…. nct dream’s go was the reason i became an nctzen back in 2018, so i had a few months before we go up to become obsessed with their older songs. funnily enough, my favorite old dream song is also trigger the fever- ive sobbed to that song more times than i’d like to admit, but nct dream KNOW how to deliver a gut punching yet uplifting song. anyway, we go up mini. to this day imo the best mini released across all of the brand. i remember sitting in front of my laptop waiting for this album to drop- i also remember listening to dear dream and crying (hysterically. it was bad). i ALSO remember muting marks graduation on twitter because it was so painful, and then the ot6 dreamies performing, haechan saying “today of all days i miss mark the most” as the other members were shaking with sobs behind him, the dreamies calling mark on lives bcs they refused to do the chant without him and many MANY other instances that sm WILL pay for. even now with ot7 reunited again, that song hurst like an absolute bitch, especially when they released rainbow and we realized it was a direct response to dear dream. as a graduation song, they really perfected the emotional impact to a devastating degree lol… from mark referencing the car they used for schedules and how those car rides passed by as quickly as his time in dream, to jeno + jaemin both saying there were unspoken words and regrets they have, but that they’ll always welcome mark back, to jisung calling mark their seagull they worry about & calling himself the lighthouse mark can rely on when he’s on a “different sea” (aka 127), to haechan literally reminding mark of the dreams he used to tell him about before debut, and renjun + chenle saying mark always looked so big to them & gave them strength. like what the fuck was that. what WAS THAT. then the song ends with mark saying he hopes they don’t ever forget their special chant and will continue to say it, plus his line “hope we always feel like” is LITERALLY finished by the vocal adlibs saying “home”????????? absolutely foul of them. in case it wasn’t noticeable i have feelings about this song. but yes this was just an excuse to ramble about how perfectly soul shattering dear dream is & a forewarning for how bad i’m about to be when the rainbow reaction comes

'1, 2, 3' is suuuuch a catchy song and the choreo to it is REALLY good and they look like they're having a blast. 😊 Hopefully you get to see the dance practice for it at some point. Once I watched a video of three cosmetic surgeons evaluating NCT's looks and one of them said something like, Jeno has a full helping of testerone. 🤣
