When I was 20 years old, I lived in Town of Tonawanda, NY, a suburb of Buffalo and close to the Moog factory, which was the old Wurlitzer organ plant. I had the wonderful experience of Bob Moog doing a lecture at the university where he showed how he linked all the existing individual audio electronic devices like oscillators, envelope followers, and envelope filters together to create that first synthesized sound. As budding rock keyboardist, I found it to be the coolest thing I had ever heard.
